Soap fans love to write about their shows but what if you were the head writer and could dictate what's going to happen next? Check out mySON TV, a forum dedicated to blog and fan fiction writers who have plenty of soapy ideas.
I agree with @DaytimeFan that Erika's performance this episode was better than I even expected (although @Taoboi saying he'd seen better acting from the chick who plays Willow on GH made me cackle out loud!). Props to production for giving her an entire episode to carefully establish Her Side. She wants the narrative to focus strictly on her divorce, so I think that's what we'll get. I honestly think Dorit's "widows and orphans" comment is taken out of context and will actually be a statement of support for Poor Erika.
Sutton calling Crystal out on being a mean girl
Yeah she's still around I suppose, which is why it's so odd to take her out of the opening. It's not like they added anyone that I noticed. There might have been an extra shot of Paris.
Ha! That's a good take on this story and so true.
We don't even need to refer to who her mother is
SHE used to be written as kind of a schemer herself. She slept with Billy to get back at her mom. She had done her fair share of stuff at Lola when she wanted Kyle. And so on.
It is not potential: we have established already that she can defend herself.
I hate the bad habit of soaps deciding a leading lady can't have done bad things and memory-holing them.
I am not a Summer fan at all but HK can definitely carry story and be sympathetic without turning her into a wimpy victim. Summer would NOT be intimidated by Tara at all.
I appreciate your depth of knowledge and your willingness to answer even the silliest of questions. You both bring the receipts every time and I have come to trust that you guys really know your stuff. Cheers!
Wondering where the LBGTQ+ characters are during Pride Month (as well as the rest of the year). #firefrank Why have diversity solely in the list of cast members rather than on the screen? Less screen time for Frank's pets might open up some room for characters that are trotted out to say "look, we have gays and trans characters" for press releases. JMO.
