R.I.P.: Robert Kelker Kelly (AW/DAYS/GH)

Per above-posted Page Six report:
The police report identified Allison Kelly as Kelker-Kelly’s spouse, who had called for help. As Page Six said, this spouse "had not been widely publicized".

More importantly, it's so sad that he didn't realize the chest pains were as significant as they were. He must have discounted it, as many people do.

A good reminder to go to the Emergency Room even if you think it's nothing.

Cardiovascular problems can strike at any age. RKK looked like someone who kept fit and in shape. I googled to see if he smoked and it came back just occasional cigars, but I thought I remembered photos of him in SOD with a cigarette.

BTG: October 2026 Discussion Thread

Yesterday, I wrote
Today, we see that Tyrell, Jessica, and Chessie are gone, sent back to college. All we have left is a line or two from Samantha, spending her sad day (because her dad was arrested) going back and forth to Caffeine Fix.
Jesus.
-- I wasn't crazy about today's episode. Just a lot of roll-my-eyes moments, and some of the dialogue seemed off.
-- Samantha said "cray cray" twice, which hit its popularity peak a decade ago. "Unhinged" or even "delulu" would've made more sense to me. I don't see teens using dated slang except as a joke.
-- I still don't buy Leslie working SO hard and overtime to get back at the Duprees. To buy this, we have to believe NOTHING has happened in her favor since the show began. Anita, the Duprees, and the Articulettes have done so much for Leslie, but none of that matters? Is she that insane?
I think it's a case of not knowing what to do with Leslie.
-- Smitty and Martin come off as much too pious and sanctimonious and self-righteous. They're written as a gay couple with an aura, and I want them to be more authentic and real.
-- It's great that Orphey Gene's is OK with their business being taken over all the time by the Richardson political campaign.
-- More scenes with Dani getting goo-goo eyes every time Bill is mentioned. Gag me.

The Young and the Restless October 2026 Spoilers

Johnny and Katie are back played by the same actors. Yet it has been mentioned that Christian, who was born after them is older (driving, thinking about college).
So what was the thinking behind that?

DAYS: October 2026 Discussion Thread

I've been watching bits and pieces rather than whole episodes, which I admit makes me unqualified to judge the show fully, but it just seems like they throw in random scenes and stories based on whoever's around the studio in a given week. I agree that the seeming end to this Kiriakis mansion thing was very weird tonally. I actually have grown to enjoy Xander and JPL's Philip together, but this truly just feels like a random series of events.
And is this Dominic Marino ever going to show up onscreen as more than a hand? It reminds me of when everyone was yapping about Aristotle Dumas on Y&R, and look how that turned out.

I'm sorry, but with that logic, every love story is a red flag for performers who are in relationships. You're offering an excuse and a defense for actors who refuse to kiss on screen, and I'm not buying it.

All My Children Tribute Thread

Random comment but I was surprised how the fashions and hair in the 1995 episodes don't look all that dated for the most part (even Dixie's pageboy cut or whatever.) and then watching clips from 2000-2001 due to this thread everyone's hair and fashion looks SOO much more weird (Ryan and his spikey whatever, Dixie's over the top curls, but even Erica somehow looks more dated.) Dunno what that says but

There also seems to be an attempt to make everyone more glamorous on the soap by 98-2000 compared to 1995 (I suppose still in an attempt to compete with DAYS or something) which might mean that hair and fashion styles were all meant to be more cutting edge...
