  1. Has there been any new word on the movies being developed at Lifetime? In terms of soap reboots, I really do think AMC would be the most successful.
  2. I'm not sure if it would work, but I do wonder if the show went a little edgier now that it's only streaming if it would help attract some new viewers. For example, show us way more male eye candy! Could a butt shot or two work, for example? LOL I mean, the fact that they're streaming should open up new possibilities in terms of story, too. They don't have to do the exact same thing they did on NBC for all those years. For the love of God though, no more back from the dead, Dr. Rolf, and non-stop Dimeras. I wish they would get back to more relatable stories and characters which I think would work better on such a small budget, too.
  3. ITA agree. We realllly needed something big to happen. The only thing I wonder is why they didn't do this during May sweeps.
  4. I wonder if DAYS dropping out of the top 10 on Peacock was the real reason for bringing Ryan back.
  5. It was kind of strange to bring Maxie back for one month and to have her disappear again. But, I guess there's BTS stuff with that situation, too. Where is Avery even supposed to be? They never say. I'm surprised they haven't aged her. I would also finally give Ava something to do.
  6. I think the fact that shows like Y&R only have wealthy characters cuts out soooo much opportunity for conflict. Where's the classic characters trying to climb their way up?
  7. I would have liked much more of RG, too. His Michael is one of the most interesting characters on the show. I assume it's just a lull before the whole Michael/Willow/Drew stuff kicks up again. Drew can't stay in his wheelchair much longer.
  8. For me, the waaaaaay overuse of the Dimeras is why I finally tuned out and cancelled Peacock. It's just Dimera overload now. None of it is relatable to me as a viewer...back from the dead yet again, for example! No focus on what's left of the Hortons or the Bradys.
  9. I feel like the Hailey/Bill storyline has completely stalled. Hopefully, they'll get it moving again...and soon!
  10. Not a Horton in sight, and nothing but Dimeras, Dimeras, Dimeras and back from the dead and yada yada. That's why I stopped watching. I just can't get excited enough by this preview to tune in again.
  11. I'm guardedly optimistic. I gave up my Peacock subscription around the beginning of the year and stopped watching DAYS after years. I just got tired of the constant Dimeras and back from the dead and other ridiculous storylines. Hopefully, Ryan will help as the show just became soooo boring and listless.
  12. Me, too! The show desperately needed another place for characters to hang out besides Deacon's pizza shack. Plus, we'll get shirtless eye candy all the time now! :)
  13. Right?! Their numbers are way up, and I can't figure out why. It's just the same old same old. I believe the way ratings are calculated was changed a few months back, and it may actually benefit shows that tend to have older viewers.
  14. I forgot that element of conflict the first week in Vernon and his "babying" of Dani and her conflict with Anita. There was also more conflict between Nicole and Dani. Since then, the Duprees have become the "perfect" family with no one causing trouble within the family. They need a new person to come in and be messy!
  15. I agree. I guess they had to tone down Leslie to not write her into a corner, but it left the show without a real good pot stirrer.
