YAY!!!! Great news for the whole genre! A two year pick up is a huge sign of confidence!

I feel like that foursome is beyond played out. The show finally had a chance to send Hope in a new direction, and now she's saddled with wishy-washy Liam again. Probably later this year Liam will once again start thinking Steffy is his true love. If this show loves anything, it's to repeat the same storyline over and over and over and over.

It was soooo good! I love crazy Willow, and as someone else mentioned, I'm rooting for her. But, Kai and Trina better look out! Shirtless Chase = Yum. I feel like GH knows how to show off their eye candy better than any of the other shows. I'm curious as to where all this is going with the car accident.

Overall, they have to be satisfied with the show. I keep hoping it does well...then, maybe it could lead to other soaps in the future.

By it being "jamming" I hope she means we'll actually get some plot movement for a change!

I just finished rewatching the series on Flex. A lot of it was new to me since I was a kid during most of the run. The one WTH story that really stood out for me was Jenn Hackney. Not only was the story boring, but I also never understood what was happening with that plot!

Was Kristen Storms back on contract for just a month? I'm assuming Finola Hughes is on a "break"?

I'm still watching, but as others have said, I feel like the show just drags. Most times I just have it on in the background. I wish something, ANYTHING big would happen. I wonder what the thought process is of having all these stories kind of limp along with no real movement.

It's still waaaaaay better than Y&R, B&B, and DAYS these days though.

Not surprised about Rafe since the character has had basically nothing to do for years. I believe I read that Arianna has been recast though.

So true! But, let's be honest. Y&R has a lot of difficulty writing for anyone under the age of 45! There is no more "young" in the Y&R.

Nice cliffhanger. I suspected "Nathan" wasn't Nathan. But, is this some random twin for the DNA test they did to match? But, honestly, let's get to the real MVP for today's episode, and that would be Rory Gibson's running shorts. Those alone should get an Emmy nom! YUM!

Yeah, it seems an odd pairing for Michael, and I for one would be happy to see Rory Gibson on every day. Not only can he act, but he's hot as hell.

Does anyone else think they're building to a Kristina/Jacinda/Michael triangle?

I really hope another soap snaps him up.

I also wonder how the 4 that are still on broadcast are doing in the streaming world and how many viewers that adds. I know GH is consistently in the top 15 shows on Hulu and often in the top 5. That's how I watch it every day.

I was soooo sad to see Marco die, but I'd been suspecting that this was coming. From a story viewpoint, his death makes sense in some ways by the story it will generate. Still...a bummer to see him go. Overall, these have been some great episodes. NLG continues to knock whatever they give her out of the ballpark.

I have to say, compared to the other four soaps, GH has been on fire for months IMO. I actually look forward to watching it every day. I can see why it's often in the top ten on Hulu.

I've had a lot of similar feelings, and I so, so want to love this show! I wonder what the thought process is to having such little drama and such few twists and turns on this show is about. Sometimes it feels as if BTG goes out of its way to avoid dramatic storytelling just as Y&R seems to be going out of its way of having any leads under the age of 50. I, too, watch GH every day now. It's not perfect, but the stories all feel like they move and stuff is happening.

After watching the show daily the first six months, I'm only drifting in and out now. I like a lot of the characters and actors, and some of the individual scenes. But, the show as a whole, just feels low energy to me as if nothing of any real importance or urgency has happened in so long. Honestly, some days I'll start an episode, but I don't even finish it. I keep waiting for something, anything to really happen. I so want this show to succeed, and it clearly has its fans, but I feel like I can skip weeks at a time and nothing has really happened. Anita's cancer has been well-written, but it can't be the whole show. Nothing seems to really happen in the Leslie/Eva story anymore and Kat treating Eva like dirt has just gotten old. I don't really care who Nicole dates. I got excited when we first heard of Hayley's true plans and intentions, but nothing besides tea drinking has happened in so long. Whatever is happening at the hospital I don't really care. It's hard to like Joey and Vanessa as characters as neither is sympathetic. There's no against the odds couple I'm rooting for. I felt that for Dani and Andre early on, but now they're married. Is it just me that feels this way? I keep turning back in to see if it can catch my attention, but it just doesn't. And, I SOOOO want to!

For a show called The Young and the Restless, there has long been a distinct lack of "young." I think soaps work the best where there are characters of every generation in stories, but on this show, if I had to guess, I bet 60% of the cast is over 50. They couldn't even give Noah a love interest his age, but instead cast someone who played HIS MOM on another show. Make it make sense.

I really wish they would give Elizabeth something meaty to play that just being everyone's talk-to. I'm not really feeling it with her and Ric. To me, she's part of the heart of the show and deserves more.

I just cancelled Peacock and stopped watching DAYS a few weeks ago after many years. The show just became so boring, so many Dimeras, and I couldn't do one more "back from the dead" story. I used to see DAYS in the top 10 list on Peacock before, but that's been a long time ago.

Is the rumor true that ABC expressed interest in taking over the show after NBC cancelled it? I wonder if that had come true, where on their schedule would they have put it...mornings? I felt like by the end the show had gone a bit off the rails, but I was so sad to see it go off the air.
