With a depleted field, he'll probably still lose but his chances fpr a good result increases with many players staying closer to home.   As for Daddy Djokovic, he should've recognized long ago that the line of players that are more loved by the public doesn't just consist of Roger Federer.   It's not that I hate Bencic or anything but she does come off as a first-class brat with no justification, at times, so I admit seeing Swiatek (who has proven to be an efficient tournament vulture) take the title tickled me a little. Yesterday, I was just thinking about how accessible tennis Broadcast used to be. The quality has also regressed. Incredible.
    • What’s going on with GH? Personally, I’ve not been very engaged with the show lately. They really aren’t milking as much drama out of Sonny’s absence as they could be. Everything feels a little loose, even with Nina determined to exact revenge on Carly.
    • Susan Banks?! LOL   I hope somehow she puts "mean, mean, mean" in a script.  🤣
    • Unfortunately, I think we have seen everything that is possibly out there from the early years.  What I still dont understand is why cant we see the later 80's or so on Hulu or any other network.  I thought by then, all of those episodes were captured and saved.  I am interested in the late 88/ 89 seasons.  There is a decent amount of episodes out on Youtube but not enough.  Does anyone know how I can get or see all the 88 season from June to December? I am glad Bev was so open and honest about her feelings about acting in other countries and her experience.  I always heard AW was popular in Canada.  I wonder why?  Too bad a broadcasting  company in Canada did not buy the copyrights of the show so it could continue but of course that would not work since it would have to be filmed there..  I think Lindley and Dailey had very similiar characterists with their portrayal of Liz Matthews.  Lemay really did change Liz a lot.  Liz could not stand Jim Matthews children under  Lindley time but all of a sudden Aunt Liz under Daily loved her neices and nephew (by marriage btw).  I would love too see footage of Nancy Wickwires years as Liz Matthews.  Was she as evil as Audra Lindley's verison of Liz?
    • I’ve been banging the drum for Phyllis vs. Sally from the jump. As others have said, they feel more evenly matched than Summer vs. Sally. (Many of us wanted Courtney Hope as a Summer recast if Hunter King wasn’t open to returning.) Courtney sorta wakes MS up out of the shticky stupor too.   And anything that moves Stafford closer to the man she *actually* has chemistry with, Peter Bergman, is a good move.   It’s sad that the stories are so shallow these days, as I’d love to see how Ashley and Traci mix it up with Sally. Sally’s just a generically ambitious schemer right now. We’ve not had a scene with Sally as evocative as young Jill admiring Katherine’s things in the Chancellor mansion.
