Right, and the examples used are primarily examples from years ago... I do think the casting of teens and young adults has changed over the past 30+ years for the most part.
But you're right that SORAS always plays havoc with these age issues so I dunno why BTG didn't try to nip this in the bud, a bit at least, with their initial casting. If you hope to have a soap where you introduce a character who is meant to be in their young 20s, and could conceivably be on the show for 10+ years, you probably shouldn't cast a 38 year old just because he kinda looks young....

Every so often I honestly have to remind myself exactly how the generations all relate to one other in birth order.
