I guess the Fenmores story is a little confusing because its status was never clearly established. Was it a mid western chain or just GC? Fashion only? How did the boutique fit in?
Y&R business stories have always annoyed me for that reason.
Is Jabot a major nationwide company competing with the big guns or a more boutique operation? Is it medium priced or more exclusive?
Restless Style? Seemed to be some glossy mag that put GC residents on the cover? Really?
Now we have GC Buzz. Why would a small town have a scandal rag/website like this?
Thanks Jason for the wonderful tribute.
Interesting that Joe never mentioned his stints in NY soaps From These Roots and Where The Heart Is. It was always intimated that Days was his first daytime experience.
But they won't. Some might do the right thing, of course, but it won't be enough.
We're just fucked.
You wouldn't think someone as wealthy as Trump is would BE so...susceptible.
I know I will never watch his cameo in "Judith Krantz's 'I'll Take Manhattan'" the same way again.
Thank you, DRW. That means a lot. I try my best, but it's always the hardest when it's a long-time cast member. I know some news organizations prepare obits ahead of time, to have them ready to go, but I've always found it the most cathartic to not have anything prepared until the person passes. I think saving the work for the day it happens helps make the best tribute possible.
Remember when DJT appeared on the Emmys one year, dressed as a farmer, and singing the "Green Acres" theme with Megan Mullally? The look on her face throughout the entire trainwreck is pretty much how half of the country feels these days.
The Nancy Drew books have changed a lot with modern times but it's still a trip to read a passage where George and Nancy go hide in the bathroom to talk and George is sitting on the (closed) toilet seat lid...
