original release date: Wednesday, January 21, 2026 | writers: Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: It is nice seeing the Richardson/Smith household on a more even-level playing field right now. Good to know that the events of last year have not kept them down. Whew, Jacob... calm down a bit. You are going ham on Marcel, who is an adult, and if he wants to have intimate relations with Fairmont Crest's resident psychopath, then so be it. Carlton, are you trying to one-up Kial after learning he was your stand-in for WinterFest? I sense some jealousy, and I kind of like it, and I do believe Nicole might too. Ugh. The spoilt, self-centred bitch is at her usual, ugly shenanigans once again. She has got to get over it at this point. Do Kial and Vanessa have a shared sparkle in their eyes? I love it. Welp. We have confirmation: Naomi tested positive for the BRCA gene. That is right, Ted: put that bitch into her place where she belongs. A low-life gutter snake whose views are gross. Kiddy gloves are off. She was overdue to be put in her place in the way Ted did. I appreciate that Dr Ahn took the time to talk to Naomi about what was going on with her and her situation. And I felt she gave great advice. Shanice is definitely hot and heavy into Ted, and I can sense that it is returned tenfold from Ted's perspective. But I also understand her hesitation about attending dinner at the country club. Another snap from Nicole about setting her offspring straight about her piss-poor attitude and approach where Eva is concerned. Kudos to Dr Ahn for not outing Naomi about what they really discussed. That was smooth and quite exceptional of her. Not them mocking the way in which Kial spells his first name. Now that is hilarious between Carlton and Ted. Ooo-weee. Shanice read Anastasia like it was an easy-to-read book, and I am living for it. I loved every moment of it. Oh no. The tension between Nicole and Shanice is so much it could be cut with a plastic butter knife. Wow. Notes: Ugh. Not writer2. He is going to be a stain on 2026. Praying that he will be out soon. PRAYING! I know it is not necessarily a chemistry test, but Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) and Greg Vaughan (Kial) sparkle together much more than Vaughan does with Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole). That is where they should be headed right now, because Duplaix has better chemistry with Robert Christopher Riley (Carlton), and it is undeniable at this point. Jeresa Featherstone is clearly using her 2026 costume budget exceptionally well, and the beneficiary of it is Keith D. Robinson (Ted), whose previous fashions could not compare to what he is wearing. That orange suit is outstanding and looks so good against his skin tone.
