Even when he was at times checked out or impaired, there was a core of integrity and intellect to Nikolas as a character that no one else has ever touched. I was touched by his blunt honesty and candor in his recent interview given his BTS issues in the last decade, and I always have hoped he would get well enough to return someday when it was right for him.
