April 6, 20205 yr Member Alan Locher's YouTube channel just put up that a GUIDING LIGHT chat will take place on April 8th at 3:00PM (the show's former timeslot). Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, MAUREEN GARRETT and Liz Keifer (eh) will be on hand. I think Don Hastings was a surprise for the ATWT one so hopefully we get a surprise guest. I'm so excited to see Maureen Garrett and Robert Newman. Edited April 6, 20205 yr by KMan101

Though I can' t could have gone all my life without hearing about Helen Wagner running around in her underwear!!!!

I couldn't tell who they were talking about running around in their underwear, it sounded like "Ben" to me, but I need to rewatch it. And yeah it was emotional for me. I didn't think I needed that and I did.
April 6, 20205 yr Member Honestly, Maureen is the only one I care about. Kim and Robert were on The Talk a few years back for that CBS Daytime reunion thing they did, and while Liz Keifer has always seemed like a nice woman, my Blake is Sherry Springfield. Pleasantly surprised by Maureen though. She's usually a very private person, so it's quite a treat.
April 6, 20205 yr Member Count me in as another Maureen Garrett fan. I thought she was one of the most beautiful women on daytime in the 1990s.
April 7, 20205 yr Member I'd like the special guest to be someone like Maeve Kinkead or Lisa Brown and Michael Tylo.
April 7, 20205 yr Member Looks like Jerry verDorm is also taking part in this. Edited April 7, 20205 yr by BetterForgotten

Kim Zimmer is always everywhere, so I don't need to see her again, per se, but now that the show is long gone, I'd be happy to hear her spill some real tea about all the turmoil TGL went through during its decline. Lord knows, the stupid storylines by TPTB really destroyed Reva and left her as a hollow, cartoon figure. No one was able to write for Zimmer effectively except Pamela Long.
April 7, 20205 yr Member what if the Special Guest is Ellen Wheeler???? Edited April 7, 20205 yr by John
April 7, 20205 yr Member Just now, John said: what if the Special Guest is Ellen Wheeler???? Vomit. But Ellen Parker would be mooooooore than welcome. And although was always the "fake, morose, listless" Ed Bauer to me, I wouldn't mind hearing Peter Simon discuss his time on the show. His boredom and contempt were well known.
