This CBS soap ran from October 12, 1953- August 16, 1957. The show had the same name as a radio soap which fan from 38-46 and 51-52, but their stories were different. The radio version focused on Joan Barrett's fight to keep her "brilliant but unstable husband" on "the pathway to success." The TV version was about Helen Emerson, and her family - husband Frank, 9 year old Kim, 19 year old Mickey. Mickey was in love with Bonnie, a married woman. Helen and Frank also had a daughter, 17 year old Diane, who eloped with a divorced man but waited to marry until Helen gave her blessing. Helen wa

Coming to CBS this Fall, on Mondays at 9/8c. I feel as if this is based on some judges that were in the news. I don't know if you all have ever seen Judge Amber Wolf but she called the jail from the bench and demanded to know why the woman was sent to court with no pants on. I know after that and another video went viral they wanted to do shows with her but she declined.

I've been a fan of and a scholar of daytime dramas since the 70s. As a fan activist it was impossible for me to not know about the networks, companies that were interested in AW, honchos, etc. Near the end of AW, in the 90s, Viacom wanted either to merge with P&G or to acquire AW. It was a Sumner Redstone project. Fans were in favor of this because it would keep the show on the air. It fell through. Paramount wanted either to merge with P&G or Viacom or to acquire AW. Eventually Paramount & Viacom merged with Viacom as the parent company. This did AW & i

Laurence Caso Wiki 2 Quote/unquote, handwrritten Larry was noted for being the ATWT EP from 1988-1995. He won an Editor's Award. During the 1988 WGA Strike he acted as HW for the show. It is widely believed that CBS - with the assistance of P&G - engineered the infamous 3 show producer shuffle. Fans call that nightmare a fruit basket turnover. In 1996 someone from ABCD offered the Creative Consultant to Caso for The City. He declined. After he left Lucy Johnson was brought on to take his job. - As if -!

Coming to CBS this Fall, Mondays at 8:30/7:30c I did chuckle a few times while watching this and I LOVE the woman playing her mother (her name escapes me) from Chewing Gum on Netflix. I do agree that Bob seems to come off as a little stalker-ish.

I wasn't sure about just putting this in the ATWT thread as a lot of the show had little to do with ATWT by the end of its run and because the show is so rare that I thought people would want to see it in its own right. So anyway, Rob Wargo on Youtube found this very rare episode and here it is:

CBS continues it personnel travails as the showrunner of one of its forthcoming sitcoms, Fam, has been fired for using "inappropriate language" in the writer's room. Being that writer's rooms can be rough places to begin with, I imagine the language had to either be pretty foul or deeply disturbing and/or harassing to get the showrunner fired. Showrunner Of The Upcoming CBS Comedy Starring Tone Bell, Nina Dobrev And Sheryl Lee Ralph Has Been Fired For Inappropriate Language

https://daytimeconfidential.com/2017/08/10/sally-sussman-speaks-out-on-young-and-restless-and-lesbian-love-story Some excerpts: Daytime Confidential: Mariah and Tessa kissed last week on The Young and the Restless. What was the genesis behind telling a story where two seemingly straight women fall in love? Sally Sussman: When I came into Y&R last September, I had one day's notice to start the job. I had been traveling in France with my feature documentary [Midnight Return: The Story of Billy Hayes and Turkey], and hadn't been watching the show for several years. So, I

Sooooooo... it appears as if they like to keep going back to the SAME plot of bringing in coaches and returnees. Audrey Middleton, Big Brother 17, 14th placeDerrick Levasseur, Big Brother 16 winnerVanessa Rousso, Big Brother 17, third placeIan Terry, Big Brother 14 winner http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/2016/06/big-brother-18-coaches-twist-bb18/ The link has more info but why bring in Audrey? She wasn't even a good gamer and was out very early. The others I can kinda get because they played good or semi-good.
