  1. I do appreciate how Sharon has been written under Sally and Mal. The bit about her living with a mental illness has been handled far better than it had been previously, when it was solely played for laughs and shock value. Her speech today was actually quite poignant.
  2. A nutritious, hearty meal.
  3. This show really needs another woman in her 40s/50s. The Ridge/Brooke/$Bill carousel is boring and repetitive, and Bill goes from declaring his love for Steffy to sniffing around Brooke within weeks again. I hear HT will be more of a presence moving forward, though.
  4. It’s a graduation. Rey just said it. Yeah. I suppose between Neil/Ashley and Sharon/Nick, at least couples are allowed to have sex in beds instead of couches and countertops???
  5. I wonder what her exit story will be. Has there been any talk? I hope it’s not a death.
  6. Interesting. She’s a great personality, no doubt, and she can integrate music into the show in a way other hosts can’t. (Didn’t work so well for Harry Connick, Jr., though.) It’s replacing Steve Harvey’s show. https://deadline.com/2018/09/the-kelly-clarkson-show-syndicated-nbcu-talker-fall-2019-launch-nbc-stations-steve-replaced-steve-harvey-1202467482/
  7. LOL I’d never seen this before.
  8. Grain of salt but wouldn’t be the most shocking development.
  9. Carrie Ann will cry at the drop of a hat. I used to watch DWTS, and I’d roll my eyes at how teary she’d get over some random routine.
  10. Julie’s message on The Talk just aired. It was from the set of BB and was directed at her co-hosts. Nothing controversial IMO. Notably, she told guest co-host Carrie Ann Inaba, “You look pretty good in that chair, my Asian sister.”
  11. I love that guy. He has a beautiful smile.
  12. I didn’t interpret that article to mean that her desire to “clear her husband’s name” would be part of her taped message, just that it was her “reason” for leaving. That would be insane for CBS to allow her to diminish victims on-air in such a brazen way. Stranger things have happened, I guess.
  13. Just random: Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, and Alex Moffat were all promoted ahead of this upcoming season. http://www.vulture.com/2018/09/snl-season-44-day-villaseor-and-moffat-get-promotions.html
  14. I was wrong about the difference in skin tone between VA and the new Jordan. She reminds me of someone.
