  1. Oh good. I’m somewhat spoiled (accidentally, like I know who dies at the end of S3). I know it’s been renewed. Are you through all the seasons? The show does a decent job at making the characters very grey. The so-called “good” characters (like Samu and Nadia) do sh!tty things while you see the heart of even “villainous” characters (like Polo and Lu). I totally saw the end of Season 2 coming with Polo and Caye. Also, as you say, I love the twists and turns. Just when you think someone has the upper hand, there’s a reversal of fortune. Helps when you write characters who are evenly matched, even if they don’t have the same resources at their disposal.
  2. Does anyone watch this trashy, very unrealistic yet engaging Spanish high school soap opera? I’m on Season 3, and I feel like the show has always jumped the shark a bit, but I enjoy Guzman (a cocky rich bully, at least initially), Lu (a great little bitch), ice queen Carla, and Ander/Omar (the gay couple). I hear the show really goes off the rails in Season 4, but the first couple of seasons have some top-notch glamorous soap with a touch of social commentary about class. (The early protagonists are poor scholarship students at a super-wealthy private school.) The amount of graphic simulated sex sometimes feels exploitative, I must say.
  3. It was decently choreographed. And Deacon playing the victim to manipulate Brooke was funny.
  4. Steffy being all smug to Hope especially after Steffy and Hope’s husband got wasted and fûcked? And there was a question whether Steffy’s baby might be Liam’s and not Finn’s?
  5. I’m sure the Barbz are pissed:
  6. Actor Antonio Jiminez from Colombia 🇨🇴
  7. Prada in Indonesia 🇮🇩
  8. LOL. He was gorgeous, but I hated Matt so much. That slowed-down version of the theme makes me verklempt.
  9. More Luis
  10. The other day, Finn mentioned to Chase that he was glad they didn’t know about Bailey/Louise (so they wouldn’t have gotten attached to their granddaughter).
  11. Wow. His films dominated my childhood.
  12. I’m surprised he hasn’t done one with VM yet (unless I’m mistaken—I think she was supposed to be a guest last year, but I couldn’t find an episode). VM showed up in the comments of Maurice’s IG Live yesterday, and he and his wife Paula couldn’t figure out how to add her in. Vanessa would be a great guest, not just for the S&B factor but because of all she’s endured in her life (the seven miscarriages, etc.).
  13. I liked Y&R’s fade to black and producer credits too. I loved GH’s end credits from the ‘90s: And GL’s end credits with the still shots of the cast in alphabetical order. I was also disappointed when they skipped those credits and just had the GL logo. It was also so weird when they ended with Kim Zimmer instead of Michael Zaslow.
  14. I don’t watch NJ anymore, but I saw the clip of Gia confronting Joe and telling Teresa and Melissa, “I don’t need an entourage.” She’s pretty poised.
  15. She’s Steven Moffat’s mother-in-law.
  16. Finally from FAA. He’s going to be so dominant if he keeps on this trajectory.
  17. You do this too well. JG might slide into your DMs with a job offer.
  18. Dan in the U.K. 🇬🇧
  19. That’s where the plot went off the rails. He should have stayed dead. But Cane as a con artist playing on the grief of Jill and the Chancellors at least could have been more interesting than what played out. His characterization was all over the place, and he should have been a short-term character ultimately. And the casting was all wrong, of course.
  20. I feel like a lot of the stories of that era on Y&R (from the initial Adam story to Cane as the imposter P3) seemed promising on paper. But MAB and her co-writers (Hamner, Sheffer, JG) lacked the skill to execute them without devolving into cheap camp.
