So far, Canada has been one day ahead for six episodes. @Toups @Errol any official word on this? MVJ commented to a viewer on twitter: from @iammskye1 I demand to be put in the same schedule with the Canadian #BeyondTheGates viewers. If that means dropping us two episodes in one day, one aired live and one on streaming, do what you gotta do, lol. They ain’t bout to be out here outdoing us. I guess that's why I never could hate Drake Hogestyn or John Black so much that I wanted him off the show. DH always came across (on screen and off) as the ultimate "team player," who never phoned it in or mistreated his colleagues or fans in any way. -

A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days. I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it. We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least. Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all. And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.
