Supposedly it's on her own if she is out. But I just saw rumblings on Twitter and I DON'T know the source so take it with a total grain of salt. But honestly, like Hope, they haven't known what to do with Kate for over a decade. I'd hate to see her go but I wouldn't be shocked either.

They're lowballing everyone. Imagine the savings with Kristian and Lauren out?

I'm more bullish on DAYS than most of you. I think it's basically as good as a soap can be in 2020 considering budget issues and executive meddling.

But darn, losing Lauren Koslow would be a huge loss. They could just use her right... She shouldn't be a sidekick for Abe. Give her a younger man to romance her and a scheming woman to feud against, and we're cooking with gas.

I meant to reply earlier to this.  I am shocked.

However I do have to disagree with one thing. Before the writers messed it up, I liked some Hope/Aiden. And it seem like others did too. Of course, I might be wrong. But once they messed that up AND killed Bo, there was not much to do with her.

And I don't want her with Rafe. Sorry.

Kristian Alfonso (Hope) opened up about her DAYS exit in a segment of ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT. “It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and I have no regrets,” she told interviewer Matt Cohen (ex-Griffin, GH). In the piece, Cohen said that when producers suggested she be pulled from the show for five months, it opened the door for her to make the tough decision to go. Alfonso revealed that she had been thinking about leaving for the past few years, adding that she won’t be back. “I don’t plan on returning and popping in as others have done in the past,” she declared. “I think that chapter is closed and a new one needs to be started.” For the full story from Alfonso, pick up next week’s issue of Digest.

    • AMC 2.0 was fantastic; it was strong and it was bold and pushed some boundaries with how it told the Cassandra storyline. When Y&R did it soon after, you could tell how watered down it was on Y&R.
    • I am actually surprised so many people think Lulu is way out of line.  I think it's more nuanced. Yes, it was BLQ choice to give the baby up for adoption and she shouldn't be shamed for that.  At the same time I do think it does directly affect Lulu's family because it is Rocco's brother and she's still in love with Dante.  So I can sort of see her moral dilemma there.
    • I think AMC 2.0 was pretty strong throughout, frankly. I still consider it the best soap of the 2010s. I was not against Dixie and literally anyone but Tad, lol. Dr. Anders was interesting but he also came off almost cartoonishly remote/on the spectrum at times re: his grief over his wife or whatever. It didn't get much chance to get off the ground, and they clearly planned to break the emergency glass and bring back MEK/Tad per the final episode.
    • I believe so, yes. But I think that was more a case of hiring someone who was then a popular soap name (much like bringing over Bernard Grant from GL a few years later). To my limited knowledge amnesiac Tom Edwards was a far cry from Bill Matthews, and he didn't last long.
    • As long as I'm not hearing the same redneck guitar musical sting Days has been using the GWB administration, I'm okay with BTG's evolving music situation.
    • Bo/Billie are in Night Sins but not together.  She's bantering with Jack about the manuscript and Bo is in love with Carly. He stops Carly from taking off with Lawrence and Nikki on a plane when he solves Lisanne's murder. Winter Heat is Bo/Billie focused.  Along with Vivian/Laura and Carrie and Austin I believe. Yeah, Bo/Carly and John/Isabella weren't exactly my thing so that's probably why I didn't love it.
    • Chase looked very hot today. Lulu needs to mind her own business. She's been so annoying ever since she came out of the coma. Tracy's reaction to Brook Lynn blurting everything was hilarious!

I'm waiting for Drew to tell Willow to jump off a cliff. She is so stupid and does everything Drew tells her to do.
    • I was very into both Bo/Carly and John/Isabella, so that's probably why. Add in early Jack/Jen, and that was another plus for me. (The subsequent special with Bo/Billie in...were they in "Night Sins"?...didn't work for me since I never liked Billie, no matter who played her.) And the Sami/Carrie rivalry exhausted me even then.
