Just watched and WOW - that exceeded expectations by far. Wonderfully directed and produced. It really reminded me of the old 1994 tornado on AMC. I just hope new storylines spin off from the aftermath. I don't know the blonde from Y&R, but that cliffhanger was GOOD. (Again, chandelier on top of Julia on AMC haha). Eva and the blood - so scary! Kat was on my sh!t list again today for her behavior. Where was Tomas btw, we didn't see him at all did we? The scenes with Jacob outside with the car at night - also very well done. The shot from outside the window with Naomi and Ashley was good/different. I did think the music they played with Dani/Bill at the end was cheesy. They could have picked a quieter, sultry song given the nature of what just happened with the tornado. I loved Leslie in this episode - taking care of Anita and being a real human. Her emotions over Eva... great stuff. Overall the emotions were just so high. These types of events, where characters are in peril and loved ones are in agony, really get me in tears. This was great soap opera - kudos to BTG! I can't wait for tomorrow.

The writing for Valentin and Charlotte today was a little cringe - it's giving more romantic couple vs. father/daughter. Uh oh - Nina is onto Cassius... The Kristina farewell tour is lacking for me because it just seems random and came out of nowhere. She's not involved or doesn't care as much about the businesses/organizations she's involved in? Too convenient. There could have been a better idea for her exit. NLG was great in that last scene though. I'm probably in the minority, but that little James irks me. Maybe I just don't love kids that much, but his bluntness would drive me crazy as an adult. Laura Wright is so good - I loved her facial expressions and reactions today. I can't wait for McCollum to die and now I'm hoping she's the one that gets to off him. Also, Ava and her martinis LOL - always makes me chuckle because it's so often. I wonder if Maura always requires it to be a martini.

You and I started watching regularly around the same time! That's fun. I watched several, several years ago, but I do remember Julie Berman in the role, that's about it. Alexa is killing it though, like you said. I was a Babe fan, but I understand why many weren't because of what she did. RP is definitely one of the most handsome. I watched some old videos when he was a young Nathan back in the day and I much prefer this more rugged, older version haha. Elizabeth definitely needs something more to do. She's a nice sounding board and she's on more than I thought she would be based on the comments from longer-term fans... but it would be nice to see a storyline for her beyond just a very supporting character, or one episode showing her on a date once per month.

Oh that was a sure sign they're going to pair Lucas and Joe, right?? That scene with Joe walking Lucas into the hospital and Lucas's painful laughing... I do think Joe needs to lighten up though, he's playing it too stiff, but I'm guessing he's got some big mystery/secret. Gosh I loved that last scene with Lulu and Tracy! They have great chemistry as acting partners. Definitely think they're going for a Nina/Brennan pairing... Cassius is making a big mistake... that'll bite him in the butt.

Ohh I just realized the hotel costs are not included. That does bring it up quite a bit. I'd still love to go haha. But I wouldn't go by myself and none of my close friends are soap opera fans (boo).

LOL at Sidwell's facial expressions as he watches Lucas show off his bulletproof vest. I gotta wonder what Sidwell's fate is now given he's been arrested.

Ok nevermind, Kyle isn't gay LOL. Great cliffhanger - I can't wait for tomorrow! It was slightly silly that a tornado watch came in and within a minute, the tornado arrives. I'm not a weather expert but I've lived around tornados before and I'd think a tornado warning is more appropriate. Whatever, I'll go with it because it's exciting. Also LOL that Victor magically escaped in that short of time. Tamara's voice was going, poor girl. I hope she wasn't too miserable during the long shooting days (assuming she was sick). I enjoyed Leslie's arrival and Joey thinking it was his sister because of the cloak LOL.

I can't believe it's today that I learned (or let it sink in) that Y&R is based in Wisconsin haha. Given it's personality and various businesses, I just assumed it was West Coast. Anyway, is Kyle (Jack's son) gay? That was an interesting innuendo they made in the beginning about knowing Martin. They're doing a lot of backstory recaps - guessing to entice any Y&R viewers to stay with them. I get it.

Oh wow - I didn't know they put on such a big event like this for fans - how cool! I'd love to go. Anyone on here ever been? Dang, the best tickets are already sold out :/

Haha I've been so busy the last two weeks with work and travel, so I haven't been able to watch GL much sadly. I'm hoping to pick it back up very soon!

Haha I was going to say the same thing - he looked like a zipped up brick out there in the middle of June while Gio is out shirtless and swimming all episode. He's definitely wearing a bulletproof vest. Carlo definitely got to level 10 today with his over the top dramatics. Overall, I thought today was so exciting and good. It felt like another Friday, which seems to be happening a lot on Tuesdays. I wonder if they're not caught up yet from any preemptions? Obricht seemed to accept Cassius too quickly, but whatever, at least she got a good slap in. They're definitely going to redeem him now, which is fine. I can't wait to see if Brennan is able to stop Willow! She looked so scared and I loved it. BLQ scheming - finally! I was bored with her for so long. I love that she's going to frame Willow when it was HER that did all this mess. And LOL at that baby shower and the guys both raising their hand. Of COURSE they did that 😂

Oh wow! Had no idea she was in the running for Michelle Bauer. Can't wait to watch this episode.

I like this idea. I don't know if it's a possible option, but it would be nice to at least acknowledge another poster's thoughts even if you don't want or have the time to reply to every single post. I really love that the front page design that made a short appearance a few months ago is back. The option to see the last five active threads per area is so nice (vs going into each one to see if there is something new to read through). Now, that may not generate as much click activity, but if that's not a metric to care about, then let's keep this design I'll be here regardless. I was so active 20+ years ago and then only lurked the AMC and housewives threads for ~10-15 years when my career and life took off... but now that I have time and passion for soaps again, I'll be around regardless of what ends up working out or not. OH - I didn't realize this was the lady playing Joey's sister - I like her! She's strong and natural too. I like that Joey seems to be on good terms with her too. LOL at her looking like a Traitor up in the turret though upon her reveal.
