@chrisml S2 and S3 New York are two of the best RH seasons ever produced IMO. Bethenny was very different, and it struck me that in S10 she kind of turned into a self-producing Jill Zarin in a lot of ways. Full circle!

I also enjoyed S4 even though it was toxic. Cindy is awful, but in a watchable way, because she is so ridiculously humourless. And her having to deal with Sonja and Ramona is hilarious because those two have a sense of humour. Morocco was a great trip, and best of all, a few people who were absolutely horrid finally get their just desserts! (Plus one who did not deserve to). I'd watch it because S4 marks the end of an era.

In BH news, guess who is using her sister's addiction to stay relevant? Yep, Kyle is at it again. She's got 'concerns' about Kim and wants everybody to know about it. So instead of calling Kim or the family, her publicist called the tabloids. Of course! That's the best way to deal with someone whom you imply might be messing with drugs again! *side-eye*

There's a lot of good moments in the 4th season. I'd check it out. Like @Cat said, it's the end of an era, with Jill and Alex and cray-cray Kelly still there. The Morocco trip is awesome and the aftermath with Luann/Jill targeting Alex & hubby Simon is good. You'll also hear the phrase, "Not the right time, not the right place" about a million times, lol.   It's the reunion that gets really ugly.

I thought NY Season 4 indeed had great moments (Luann and the camel), but there was too much bad acting (Jill) for my liking. To me, it couldn’t help but feel like a disappointment after the nearly perfect Season 3, which, to me, the standard by which I measure all RH seasons. Just one dazzling episode after another and still the greatest reunion ever.

I still quote it. “Next thing she’s gonna tell us she’s an African-American, Asian woman!”

”You were sppppread eagle in the lobby of your husband’s hotel.” (Massive JZ eyeroll)

”Thank you, Andy. I appreciate that.”

“Your blood type is Pinot Grigio.”

Holy [!@#$%^&*]! Why do the Potomac HWs always get the cheapest reunion clothes? Even lower-rated Dallas reunions look better than this polyester mess! Which $2 bargain bin did the stylist find these? I thought Giz's lace see-through onesie (with shoulder pads!) was pretty bad -- until I scrolled down and caught sight of Ashley. She looks like she got into a fight with my grandma's net curtains -- and the net curtains won. Is that an attempt at a superman cape??

That clip -- finally Gizelle is getting schooled. Giz usually keeps her cool, but you can tell Karen got under her skin because she lost it. BTW Katie seems like she is almost tweaking at one point in that clip. I dont recall her being like this in S1. I dont know if she is on drugs, but my gut says yes. I hope she has good people around her.

Ashley looks awful and easily the worst of them all. It's deserved, given her character. Robyn is the biggest disappointment with both that hair and dress because she's been looking amazing in the show with the short cropped hair and the perfectly fitting short dresses.

Gizelle never has taste and always looks pageant, so she's par for the course. The same applies to Candiace whose dress is trying to be more charismatic than she actually is. Karen tried, but it doesn't work. Monique wins by default, and because her body and hair look incredible.

Not a surprise as any cast changes would have been seen by production as an admission that the show doesn't work anymore, that it WAS a gang-up on LVP and that the rest of the cast was at fault. Bravo isn't going to admit that, so the show is going to continue to fall apart at the seams.

Those RHOP reunion looks are hideous, but they always are. I'm a drag queen and wouldn't even wear that stuff. The only one who looks decent is Monique. This franchise they seem to try too hard when it comes to the reunion so they always fall short. With RHOBH there's so much scuttlebutt that the entire cast is returning (with some questions on if that includes Camille) and if that's true there is no way that works for me. Even if they add a great new HW, I just don't have it in me to watch these girls.

This season is gonna be dry as [!@#$%^&*] unless Rinna/Erika target Kyle/Teddi, which I assume is gonna happen. That's why they were pumping Kyle up as the 'true queen of BH' b/c they are about to knock her off her porcelain throne (toilet) before she even plops down.

I've concluded from the start that Rinna wants the crown as 'queen' of RHOBH seeing as she's been p*ssed b/c she was overlooked on being cast on the show since the start.

These reunion looks in general are tacky and over the top.  Whatever happened to just wearing a simple black or red dress?

Beverlyy Hill needs a cast shake up...and if Andy were smart..he'd look at how OC reinvented itself in season 9 with the addition of Shannon ( if the show gets a season 15, they need to ax Gina..no one likes her..but I do love karma being a bitch to her after the way she went after Shannon in season 13..did she not see what happened to Heather after she did the same thing to her in season 9?)

    •   1. 11/1/83 cast/set list:

Please register in order to view this content

The "11/2/83" video you posted of Ruth Buzzi's scenes includes Roman and Hope in them, meaning the video you posted is actually 11/1/83, since Roman and Hope aren't in 11/2/83.   2. The video you posted of "11/2/83" has scenes with Roman and Hope. As you can see from my cast/set list, Roman and Hope are not in the 11/2/83 episode (see above note):   4573...11/2/83: Cast: Mickey, Julie, Doug, Maggie, Neil, Don, Marie, Alex, Liz, Andre as Tony, Gwen, Chris, Eugene, Sandy, Letitia, Charlene, Mrs. Whiting, Wanda/Guard, Dave, Delia, Saleslady # 1, Saleslady # 2, Figure in Dark, Raven/animal, Cats/animals, Birds/animals.   2.  11/3/83 :My video collection starts with 11/4/83. so I don't have the 11/1/83 or 11/3/83 video, but in addition to the cast/set list for 11/3/83, here is also the parking clearance call sheet for that day, showing Ruth was not only in the cast/set list but did work that day:     They even had hired the animal trainer and all the animals for the day, so It's sort of a certainty that her scenes were not cut that day, or it would have been a big waste of the budget. 3. As for 11/7/83, I just fast-forwarded through that whole episode myself. Letitia is in it from start to finish. It's her big final episode where she is killed. She starts the episode saying "Eugene, are you there?" In the next act, Marlena shows up and meets Letitia's lion. Later in the episode, Letitia is killed by "Eugene" (the Salem Slasher in a Eugene mask).   So, as we can see from your own post, the 11/2/83 date you have listed on that video is incorrect, since Hope and Roman are in that video but not in the 11/2/83 episode. It seems the dates you have on all your early November 1983 episodes are incorrect.   When you post videos and suggest that my data is incorrect, do you not first compare who is in the scenes and see if that matches who is in the episode? You didn't do that with the "11/2/83" episode, which based on Roman and Hope being in it means that is actually 11/1/83. Best to do something like that first before suggesting my data and research is incorrect.
    • Within the Dupree family, I predict Vernon/Anita will be conflicted about what to do about Bill and his role in the whole Ted/Silk Press Sheila situation... especially since Bill knows where the particular bone about Martin is buried. Dani, Chelsea, and Naomi's reactions to what Bill possibly did isn't hard to guess.. but Hayley's reactions will be interesting to hear.  Especially given her recent pregnancy scare.. she might not be so much on Bill's side, or she'll totally surprise us and be totally on Bill's side.   Either way, I think Martin's secret will be the main focus in May sweeps.. with the fall out of the Eva secret playing out in the background... while the Joey/Vanessa/Doug thing continues to boil/develop.
    • Hotel was The Love Boat on land but a little soapier. I will forever maintain that Hotel was a time slot hit. I don't believe that 1983/84 Hotel was a better show than Knots Landing.

    • The timing is strange, though. How far in advance would they normally be on location? The Achille Lauro hijacking was on October 7, 1985. Nancy had arrived in Egypt in the storyline by October 18. But the character of Hawk, Chris' Native American friend from Arizona, had already appeared onscreen by September and brought a letter telling Chris to be in Egypt by October 25th.  Why did they already have the link to Arizona before the reason to cancel the shoot in Egypt?  The dust and the jar it came in were from Egypt though. Nancy bought it there and sent it to Mac as a gift before she came back to the states and followed Chris to Arizona.
    • Actually that is not what happened. Nor is the timing right for it to have been. We learned from a WOST interview with Pete Lemay  in 2006, which can be found on YT, that it was Fred Silverman's idea to do the 90 minute show. I don't know how much you know about him but he had these amazing successes as head of daytime at both ABC & at CBS. Then he came to NBC where basically everything he touched turned NOT TO GOLD but to shite. Some of the most expensive shows ever produced up to that time were huge flops. Although even he, like a broken clock, could be right on occasion. However, as we know, he was not right about the 90 minute show. As a matter of fact, afterward,  NBC programmers, who worked FOR him, were asked why they did it & they were quoted as saying it was because they couldn't think of anything else to try. It was a stupid idea from a man who had reached the point where he was throwing anything at the wall to see if it would stick.

    • I stopped watching Another World in 1990. Simply, lost interest in the show.  I had watched the show from 1973 to 1990. The 90 minute show started the decline of AW.  NBC panicked with expanding AW due to the GH hoopla. As mentioned above, 1982 was a trainwreck for AW.  The introduction of the Shea family, the movie storyline involving Jamie, and Steve Frame favoring Rachel over Alice. The writers went into that direction due to the forgettable performance of Linda Borgeson.
