Overall, I enjoyed the Abe stuff. I assume they asked Renee Jones, and she declined. 

I would love for them to bring Brandon back to the canvas. He has connections with not only Abe but Nicole, Chloe, and Jennifer.

Like with Louise Sorel, it's probably a safe bet they gave her short notice.

The Paulina/Maggie scenes were random, but I really liked them. It's always good to see characters who rarely interact share scenes together.

And yes, the mobster's gotta go. The character's annoying and the actor is trying way too hard. Is he the new Calista lol

The mobster guy is terrible! He's a complete cartoon. Obviously he's not a long-term character but sheesh, we couldn't have found someone slightly less awful? 😂 I was actually laughing at his acting today. I also laughed at Ava asking who shot Abe and mobster man was just like, "The gun did it!" Lol what.

I can’t help but to feel as if the warp speed taping this show does, hindered the show in both of these cases. Short notice/warp speed taping. 
 

The Abe stuff was ok; but Roman and Nicole were definitely needed for the episode. 

I wish ED was back again as Kristen following her turn on Beyond Salem but at least the SH and DF scenes went well.

So MarLucifer couldn't efficiently dispose of Doug but she can survive in God's house, turn a cross upside down and control, pummel and drag John Black with her/his super powers.

I THINK Marlena wasn't fully integrated with the Devil when she was dealing with Doug, so that's why she couldn't effectively dispose of him.  And once she was fully integrated John was the bigger problem, so that's why MarDevil didn't get rid of Doug.  I think it is in her plans though.  Honestly, though, I am not sure.  How is she dragging John around town without anyone noticing lol?

With EJ back that makes sense. Wonder if that is who took Sami

DF and SH have good rapport as brother and sister. I was so spoiled with ED as Kristen on Days:'Beyond I just can't adjust to SH's Kristen at this moment. We definitely needed a longer break from her.
