Still want a Best of Jill or a Christmas in July week, but very doubtful either of those will happen.

Today’s 2001 episode is so far another great episode from the era with more of Jill on a rampage with the Billy & Mac drama front and center. Christopher Douglas’ Sean looks like he was about to bust out of that sweater and glasses

Its a Fisher/baldwin week

Monday: Michael finds out about Kevin/Lily (2003)
Tuesday: Gloria confesses too John about her son (2005)
Wednesday: Kevin & Jana's Ashram wedding (2008)
Thursday: Lauren tells Michael she's pregnant (2006)
Friday: Gloria shows up in a gift box to celebrate the holidays (2016)

After they trashed Jana so thoroughly as a character I can't believe they have the gall to push her wedding. And they aren't bothering to show any of the material that made Michael a compelling character. I'd rather track down the Red Shoe Diaries episode where CLB was rolling around bare-assed on a kitchen table than go through that material.

The Glo by Jabot storyline was the best teen storyline I've seen on a soap because it was multi-generational. Jill, Jack, Phyllis, and Katherine all had good roles - it proved that shows could chase the 'youth demo' but involve everyone.

I just loved Jill during this period of time. She was always on a tear about Mac and it was entertaining as hell. You could see that Jill was totally insecure as a mother but she was totally secure in her hatred of Mac. The chemistry that was struck between Jess Walton and Ashley Bashioum was just excellent.

I want a Best of Jill or Best of Kay vs. Jill week so badly.

I would be down for this theme but these choices are horrendous, nothing before 2003!?

I'd want to see Michael attacking Christine, Kevin setting himself on fire or being beaten up in jail... the 2003 and 2005 episodes sound good, but the ashram wedding and a 2016 episode... UGH.

As the days are dwindling I am just hoping we get another couple of rare gems. My biggest wishes are to see the Victor/Ashley abortion confrontation, Victor holding Michael in the dungeon, 70s eps involving Phillip's death, Victor taking over Jabot, and the Rick Daros story Victor getting harpooned in St. Croix. I'm wishing for a location shoots week that includes that last one plus a Black Knight week for Victor (if GH can do 3 weeks of Sonny...). Really doubt we'll get any of it though.

And for a catfight week, definitely the Lauren/Sheila lab fight and the Matt/Nick fight at Crimson lights.

I also really hope they don't pull a GH and re-air the last couple of weeks from April. They're on All Access anyway, and they could be condensed into a recap episode or extra long "previouslies."

    • In theory, a Hidden Passions mini-series would be fantastic, wouldn't it?
    • Awe, thank you @DemetriKane! I so appreciate it. She really is; she's a strong principal guest, and I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for her.
    • @Liberty City I look forward to your write ups everyday.

And I couldn't be happier, I loved her from the beginning. She's a great addition to the cast.   Same. The only one I truly like and root for is Nicole.
    • Mona... quit being a 'pick me'.  You're nothing to the Duprees except the help.  Now when you find out what Silk Press Sheila did to Laura than you can go off on her... until then.. stay quiet. I prefer the Joey/Vanessa scenes because they aren't the Duprees. Am I supposed to root for the Duprees?  I don't tend to root for, nor sympathize with those that come from privilege.  I'll always root for the underdog.
    • Sheila in that Bill/Liam scene was utterly pointless and ruined the moment completely. Bell needs to cut his losses with KB, he clearly has NO idea what to do with Sheila    LMFAO
    • I liked that realism, too.  (DanaLeslie/Lulu/whoever  is still shifty enough to have paid someone to learn those details over the years, though)

date: Monday, May 12 | Sara A. Bibel, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Anthony Pascarelli Teddy Boy. Teddy Bear. DEADBEAT! Now we know where Deadbeat gets it from. Vanessa in a random two-second spotting with Deadbeat? Oh, okay then! Dana is selling herself to Nicole right now. Oh, look who it is... Anita showing up to support Dani in her demure confrontation with Deadbeat2. Mona is not playing with Eva; from "backstabbing heifer" to "girl bye", she is not playing with her. At all. Joey is fully playing Vanessa, and she's so easily falling for it. C'mon, honey, don't do that. Shanice is going to be a comfort board for Douglas when he takes her advice and helps him heal himself. Mona going off on Dana just like she deserves. Mama Dupree went off: "Handle your business!" Could Eva and Randy be potentially paired for a one-night stand? That could be an interesting twist. Damn Mona with the continued burns, this time for Dana: "Hell was made for people like you, Leslie. Enjoy the burn." Anita questioning her own decisions and instincts feels really natural and real. It's a nice change of pace from the other matriarchs we've seen established in American daytime. Now the true Dana/Ted scenes are coming out. Anita warning Eva that she'll never be a part of the Dupree family shows the claws are fully out. Teddy fully calling Dana "demented" and "psychotic" is going to cause some problems, won't it? Notes: I fully need Maurice Johnson (Ted) gone yesterday; his performances are just not selling to me. Love seeing Tamara Tunie (Anita) beginning to get her teeth into the meat of the scripts. It's about time. Karan Kendrick (Mona) delivered today!!! She's such a breath of fresh air.
    • Oh yeah Leslie is Sheila Carter levels of delulu    Damnit, Ambyr Michell you gutted me with that quivering lip
    • Damn, Anita doesn't play, that was pretty vicious.  I hope Eva gets her redemption.
