If I was a fan I would be pissed. What are they supposed to take away from this epi? This is how we could've written it if we didn't have a hard on for our OLTL characters?

neither Jason or Sam are remotely acting in character in this stupid fantasy. They never acted like this even when they were happy. They're not happy characters, Jason broods and Sam whines
