Because what got him through OLTL was the fact that he adored that show and knew its history. If he's on a show where he doesn't really know the history? God knows how it's going to hold up. Don't forget that GH is dead man walking -- ABC want rid. Finally, Frons is going to be MUCH more implicated in storylining and how stays on the frontburner than he ever was on OL. Which given that there have been two characters on at least two of the shows she's produced (AW & GH) with that name, who were both killed off, is both rather odd and somewhat unintentionally hilarious to me.
