Hi and greetings from Italy. Can I ask you where is the vault? Have a wonderful day. Lots of love. Count Henri

Hi everyone! I'm from Italy. Please, can ask you where I can find this scene? I would like to see some scenes of Nikki played by Robin Eisenman in 1984 but I don't know where is the vault. Thanks a lot.

I'm still waiting for the day this happens...it amazes me how much there is of other soaps from the 1978-1984 era (more so 1978-1981 and 1983-February 1984 because those seem to be the years with the least material overall, besides the stuff that's in the vault).

My dream come true would be if the following showed up:

Full Episodes

-January 1978-December 1981 (mainly episodes featuring either Jill, Kay, Nikki (up until right before she meets Victor), Eve, Lorie (only from November-December 1981 involving Vanessa) and Julia)

-January 1983-February 1984 (mainly episodes featuring either Jill, Kay, Nikki, Lauren, Eve or Julia)

Edits

-Kay and Jill edits (1978-1980, 1982-1984)

-Jill Foster edits (1978-1981)

-Kay Chancellor edits (1978-1981)

-Nikki edits (1978-1981 (pre-Victor))

-Lauren edits (1983-1984)

Brenda Dickson's Jill in a scene with Victor! Rarely have I ever seen them interact.

The original Mamie gives me slight Esther vibes. Subservient and ditsy. Veronica Redd's Mamie Stood up for herself and fought back more.

This is part of the clips that were shared in the Y&R vault a year or so ago, ranging from 1982 - 1988. Tons of great scenes in there, check them out. Pretty sure this was the only time Brenda and Eric had a scene together.

Thanks for posting.

Interesting that they set up the corridor and Ashley's bedroom for that scene. Perhaps it was used in previous or subsequent episodes.

We didn't see  the Abbott living room when Mamie answered the door so perhaps only the foyer was set up.

Nowadays, they would have that scene take place downstairs, there really wasn't any reason for Ashley's room to be shown.

SOD Updates 1/26/99:

KIMBERLIN BROWN (Character TBA) According to insiders, the fan fave (ex-Sheila/BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL/YOUNG AND RESTLESS) will soon appear in Bay City.

BEVERLY ARCHER (Shirley): Jill (Jess Walton ) hires an actress to  play a maid beginning January 19. Archer was on MAJOR DAD and MAMA's FAMILY

CARLOS BERNARD (Raphael): Raphael will play an integral part of in Ashley's (SHARI SHATTUCK) upcoming storyline. He first airs on January 22.

JAY BONTANIBUS (Tony Viscardi):  A show spokesperson will only confirm that the new Tony will appear "in a few weeks".

LESLIE BEVIS (Ruth Perkins): Since it is dawning on Jim (BRETT HADLEY) that he is really Carl Williams, Ruth will be phased out. "No comment" says Y&R

SANDRA NELSON (Phyllis Romalotti): Numerous Y&R sources report that Nelson, who assumed the role from Michelle Stafford in 1997, has been dropped to recurring status and will not be seen much--if at all in 1999. "Y&R does not comment on contract status" responds a spokesperson. Ms. Nelson's spokesperson confirmed at press time her last contract date is February 22.

SIENA GOINES (Callie Rogers): With the passing of Michelle Thomas, Goines will remain in the role for now.

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
