Funny how Reilly kills Bo and Hope's little boy, but keeps Bo and BILLIE's kid alive -- though it should have been impossible since we SAW HER as a DEAD baby.

I think this is less about drama than evening Bo/Hope and Bo/Billie out in the kid department...and because Reilly hates that the audience preferred Bo/Hope over HIS creation.

Sound paranoid? Maybe it is. But I stand by it. He had been trying to resurrect Bo/Billie for ages before he FINALLY backed off. But I'll bet any money this is just another avenue to try Bo/Billie AGAIN (since I bet Bo will likely forgive his murdering ho bag daughter and Hope will rightfully want HER dead!) Especially since it looks like Billie has no other purpose on the canvas.

This could have been done by killing Chelsea, the harvesting of organs. Sure, some say "but people would not care if she died". True. But Zack was rarely seen before the death countdown started, so I don't see much of a difference here.

Reilly should correct the mistake he made in resurrecting Bo/Billie's spawn and kill her for real. Leave Zack alone.

Exactly. For this story to even be effective AT ALL, they HAVE to go the whole nine yards with it and really send a huge emotional punch to the viewers, who desperately need to be woken up SOMEHOW.

Now we will get to watch everyone lash out at Chelsea and Billie for letting this happen and how Bo and ESPECIALLY Hope will react to Chelsea hitting and killing their son and then not even stopping will be MONUMENTAL to watch.

Alfonso will be a [!@#$%^&*] POWERHOUSE and I am SOOO happy that DAYS is incorporating Abe and Lexie into this storyline what a smart move and a respect to the history that they have with Zach.

Something tells me we will get some damn good supporting performances from Jones and Reynolds aswell.

Jason Cook should also be quite good, as will Julie Pinson, who I am sure is going to be just sick over what Chelsea has done.

This is looking to be the most effective and smart storyline twist DAYS has had in a LONG LONG time. This show needs a REAL story, they need a REAL death and they need it to be EFFECTIVE and they need the viewers to be JUST as upset as the characters, and in addition the actors will ALL benefit from this and it will also give them a chance to show what they got and thrust them into the acting spotlight.

This should make the 2007 Emmy Race interesting, it could make DAYS a serious contender, which IMO would be a breath of fresh air.

If Cheslea were to die, how would it really affect Hope...She would just be a supporting character in this story...and bo and billie would be the real one's mourning...Zack dying adds more of an emotional impact for all involved..

This is definitely great material for everyone involved... and you never know, Zach could show up a rebellious, grown teenager in a few years He may have wanted to fake his own death to spare his family the agony of watching him suffer

Are you stalking me, Kev? lol I'm intrigued, I'm intrigued...I'm EXTREMELY tempted to watch, will it happen? I can't be sure until that week. I don't hav any faith in JER as a writer, so I don't know, but hopefully he won't mess up the first few weeks that bad because I very well might be trying to watch. I was/am more attached to JT being I was basically on the 6 month path to quitting by the time Bo/Hope got Zack back. It'll kill my tissue box if they re-play this song...

The last story I liked on DAYS, and one of the only story I liked in my almost 8 years with DAYS, was the culmination of the babyswitch (12/01-6/02) - different writers, different time but I am so tempted. Death is so meaningless so often on DAYS, the biggest joke, but despite the possibility Zack might come back to life even with organ donation (Jack), it could still be good initial drama (I don't expect good long-term follow through at all)...I was recapping the ratings bringing up the babyswitch story on another board:

Soaps rip-off everything from each other. How many serial killers stories did we get after DAYS serial killer story in what 2003? But I do agree, I don't know if I feel this is the right thing for DAYS to do and I really don't believe in JER's abilities. But it is creating buzz and I'm very interested in seeing how PR/KA and the other actors/characters work this and I'm trying to have some faith JER can atleast do this decently for a few weeks.

I am not going to get my hopes up for Emmy nominations. Knowing the system and how it works, I think it is a longshot and unlikely. It'd be nice, but the Emmy's have gone to [!@#$%^&*] now anyway. They mean nothing.

If the show does it well, Emmy nominations would be nice, but it's almost an impossibility for NBC soaps unless it's fluff nominations - Christie Clark for example. If they do the story well for a while, 18-49 might very well be theirs for a while and that's the other meaningful reward.

I have faith that this will be done right. JER has proven he can handle serious stories and write them correctly, however, he also has proven that he can mess them up SO bad, so say we have 50% chance this show wil ROCK and 50% chance this will suck.

Overall though, I still think regardless, we will be getting some of the best acting from DAYS that we will have seen in a LONG LONG time.

ANd DAYS may be ripping off the Maxie/BJ story and the Cassie Death Story, but it definetly fits with what is currently going on, and when was the last time DAYS had a meaningful death story like this.

I mean the only part I was worried about was Abe and Lexie and everyone else not being involved and now we know they will be. Seriously, this could be the best story ever done and I am now conifdent it will be done right. Best move Days has made in years. It will be the saddest story since JT was given up and will rank right up there with Isabella's death. I mean now we know this effects several characters and stories so this coule be one of the most heartbreaking stories ever. Great job Days now kill Chelsea and Patrick and all will be truly flawless .

Oh and if this plays out as good as it sounds Days better get at least emmy nods out of this otherwise we know they hold something against NBC. There will definitely be a huge ratings jump and and lots of media acclaim if this is done like we are hearing it is.
