  1. IA. A real scene stealer. Rest In Peace.
  2. ^^ Doesn't it sound wildly entertaining?
  3. @Ryanc2^^That might be because of the way they crafted the stories. I get what you're saying; it feels like all the storylines involve the whole family in a way. I believe if they had crafted them like an A. Family base storyline. B. Hospital-based storyline. C. A couple-based storyline would have separated the characters a little bit more. I wholeheartedly agree. That is the best way to use a villain so that it doesn't get old or repetitive for a much longer time. On the flip side, I see ways Dana/Leslie could thrive by sticking around. You were not alone❤️ The writers indeed have a rotation problem. ICAM with the bolded. I would like to see TMG lean more into the creepy angle. I feel the same way about the show, minds come from a story viewpoint.
  4. Julie Grey was amazing. I could see a world where she kept popping in and out to cause chaos. She and Pam got me hooked on Dallas in the beginning, while Sue Ellen was slowly being built in the background.
  5. The way I just howled.😂🤣
  6. This is a pretty lengthy thread, and I am sure it's already been covered, but I have a question. What did viewers think of these Valentine to singles episodes when they aired? I just watched them out of the blue and found them to be very interesting.
  7. I agree. But you could not ignore the host of great actresses on this show. That's really how they coasted by imo. They deserved to be challenged!
  8. Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that. Rest in peace, Loni!😥
  9. It was for sure. Much needed! I got that too! You could be right; Anita has all the makings to be the Erica Kane of this show, and for whatever reason, I feel they dropped the ball on that. I am ready for the music stuff to be over. We need a story that digs into her family and bloodline. Where are her siblings and relatives? She looks amazing, though. Same. She looked ridiculous. lol. I happen to agree. He's great. I hope they don't kill him because that would be another missed opportunity.
  10. The event was cheesy, but I didn't mind it. It's okay to have easy-going episodes here and there for family-focused moments and fun character interactions. The whole week felt like that to me. I wish the Articulettes had chosen a song that resonated with some other characters' feelings during the montage. Like an old-school soap. Andre looked so handsome. Dude is moving up on my radar, could this be my fave male character? Let's see... Hello Carlton! So happy to see you, almost forgot about you too. TMG is a fine for this show. Her usage in this episode, while fun, was very similar to the way she was being used at the anniversary party. The setup with Eva running in yet again, trying to stop her, the writers could do a better job with her scenes, because it takes away from her performance. The cliffhanger or the promo doesn't excite me.
  11. I don't disagree with having a healthy mix of old and new in the writers' room and was never against it, to be honest. With the show kicking off with so many veterans on her team, I expected them to be firing on all cylinders by now, but I honestly am less excited about the show now than I was in February. I understand most was only used to help her get the show off the ground but nobody bothered to give a few ideas on improving some of the stories or building stronger male characters? She could pull in Lorraine Broderick and Wisner Washam, but if MVJ isn't taking their input, what's the point, is all I am saying.
  12. I agree. That is the main problem. Ushering in a new group of young writers with fresh perspectives could put some life back into these shows. I wanted to support the whole genre with the birth of BTG, and it has been a struggle. You can't pay me to watch BB or YR. I am warming up to GH and meh on DAYS. BTG is the best right now, but here is my issue: while the stories are decent on the surface, they lack in the long-term dramatic department. MVJ's team is decent and had some entertaining episodes, but I feel they take the most convenient and safe writing routes. I would like them to take a more unexpected turn and reveal a couple of things nobody was thinking about, a secret nobody was expecting, or connect characters we didn't see as possible. I agree. 🫶🏿
  13. Pussycat Dolls
  14. Lorraine Broderick is a fabulous writer, and she is perfect for the AMC. I would take her back in a heartbeat: she created my favorite couple that never was Ross and Natalie. I still give the edge to Wisner Washam, though. He does not get enough respect and credit for his contributions, and he should. Wisner worked well with Agnes, sometimes fairytale-lite stories. He added a realism that's surely missing from daytime. He's much older now and probably wouldn't do it, but if there were an AMC reboot, he should at least consult or train some writers. What shocks me the most is that he didn't pop back up on another American soap after he exited AMC.
  15. Oooh, I like the thought of Diana Ross playing this type of role.
  16. I am over Guerdy crying.
  17. RHOM All I know is I enjoyed Miami this week. Lovely seeing Nicole again, I adore Alexia as a mom, and Andriana was great, she made me laugh the whole episode.
  18. I think it makes sense that Sharon would be the one having panic attacks before going on stage (If that's what's happening). Tracy and Anita continued to sing in front of crowds, Sharon sings with a choir at a church, it could be a small one. Added in what she experienced within the group, I find it believable. Will it lead to anything? Probably not, reminds me of something you'll see on a sitcom. Andre flipping through his tablet did not bother me. Soaps used to be great at showcasing how people were drawn to different types of love interests. He's supposed to be world-traveling, so it works for him. I don't see Martin and Smitty breaking up. Agreed!!! I love the direction they are taking him in. He also benefited from not being a part of the Dupree drama. He seems so at peace compared to some others in that family. True. I am crying, lol.
  19. I'm sure it's anxiety and/or stage fright, she'll be ok.
  20. I agree, the Nicole and Bradley scene was well-written. I am falling in love with Andre. He looks so sexy today. So.... Sharon and Tracy don't have children? Or married? What's the purpose of this storyline? Where is the drama? The ladies did make that video with ChelseaKat item but...
