  1. We will seee. You could be right!
  2. I truly enjoyed the confrontation between Leslie and Anita. It was a nice back-and-forth. It was just as good as the first one, and you can tell the writers adore writing for them. Ms. Anita was decked out in jewels today, mama looked sharp! Leslie said, 'I HAVE ARRIVED!' Come on for the his eye is on the sparrow lyrics. I didn't understand what June meant by saying some day those kids will need somebody like me in their lives. Are they sending Martin to jail? Martin and Bradley are the best couple on this show. Great fathers, too. @janea4oldMVJ probably should have made Naomi a social worker.
  3. I forgot all about her. Happy she's still making music. Incredible voice.
  4. Glad you guys had such a great time. Awesome!!
  5. I would not let go of GH. Cut back on the episodes; I am sure a tighter schedule would only help the show with a clearly thought-through story.
  6. I like this! I have a major soft spot for that era, too, mainly because of Queen Lorie and Jill. And I also agree about the show once the Abbotts(My family) are assembled.
  7. RHOM I don't like Stephanie. She comes off as superficial and fake to me. She was also itching for her moment to stir the pot on the jet. Julia did exactly what you wanted her to do, too. Everything she said about Alexia is how I view her. Maybe I am biased because I like Alexia. She does at times have this kiss-the-ring attitude, but not this time. Stephanie is overstepping her boundaries, not just with Alexia but with Lisa, too. I don't care if she spoke about what others were thinking; you are still too new to the group. Stay in your lane! She can thank Alexia for her first seat at the reunion. Money talks.... RHOC Ditto for Tamra. I thought the first episodes were on the dry side, but now that she's everybody storyline, we got a show.
  8. Ohhh. That makes sense. She doesn't bother me much as an adult.
  9. And this is the direction I hope they go. I think going the mini-series route on streaming could do them all some good, too.
  10. Pretty great interview here. I would have liked to see Lawrence Saint-Victor come to BTG.
  11. Thanks @Soapsuds & @kalbir for those articles. I will say no. Days, GH, ATWT, and AMC all had multiple golden eras IMO. What I found interesting about you & @kalbir list is that you did not include '87 when the show became number one.
  12. Yeah, she seemed fun. I saw the epic catfight between Linda and Nina. I guess that is one positive about Ted, I do enjoy his bond with his nephew. It's great that they could be open and honest with one another.
  13. It's unpopular to say, but Bill Bell and Agnes Nixon had their share of stinkers, too. Anytime I watch AMC clips, it always upsets me that Aggie never invested in giving Cliff Warner's family, especially with Palmer spending their whole romance torching him. He deserved more than some short-term sister.
  14. I liked Leslie's scenes with Peaches. These are the layers she always needed. I don't think we had to wait until the eleventh hour to reveal details about her past, but with that said, I am fully rooting for her now; this week positions her as the Erica Kane archetype. Never really warmed up to Anita, so please drag her... I still firmly disagree with having Leslie come between Nicole and Ted. Leslie and Eva have the same story; it should have been one or the other. The story has damaged Ted's character so badly that I wouldn't pair him with either Leslie or Nicole. Nicole's writing since the affair reveal has been off the wall for me. I was too through when she left Anita's event to confront Leslie at the diner. More torn about her getting money more than I thought I would. I don't want to lose her edge and street savvy at all, which many other soaps have made that mistake. So I pray they're being wise with her journey. I hear you.
  15. Very sad news to hear. What a wonderful actor he was. May he rest in eternal peace.
  16. Okay, if Leslie was always meant to be Barbara's child, what was the purpose of having her come between Nicole and Ted? Like they could have brought her in from the beginning, trying to get revenge on Anita from the start. Revealing that to the audience early on, as she slowly wiggles her way into Fairmont, seems more dramatic to me, and now she will become Anita's rival, and that leaves Nicole with nothing. Their interactions were always lukewarm to me anyway, but I feel this plot point doesn't do Nicole any favors. She continues to get the short end of the stick when it comes to story planning. I liked it as well.
  17. I agree. I appreciate your response. Very insightful. Thank you! I secretly enjoyed it myself. I thought it was a fun way to celebrate V-Day. I found the episodes to be relatable.
  18. Thank you for saying this. You made me more intigued and was spot on!
