  1. I recently started it. I wanted to watch another soap from the beginning at the same time as BTG was unfolding. I like it a lot. The feud tickles me, Jillian is so adult compared to Delia: she's needy, whiny, clingy, and super immature, but I like her lol. Jump back in... @janea4old I wish I had gotten to watch this in real time. I would be just as obsessed with the Ryan family as Delia was. Yes! I remember that during the dance marathon.
  2. Ryan's hope Delia vs. Jillian Coleridge
  3. This story proves why Anita needed to have a son. I think that's one element that would bring it full circle (for me) and make me feel more for Anita. If the Articulettes had come back into her life at a time when her black son was experiencing being passed over in his career because he didn't have "The Look". Forcing Anita to see the world differently through the lens of her seed, her blood. Her son, being mistreated in a world that she co-opted into, is now the same one, making it hard for him to succeed, which should make it deep. That's how I feel, too. They're trying to take the easy route and be another GH with Bell undertones, and I don't think that's smart at all. I enjoyed the week overall, but am I hooked? I am not. They are dragging out the Leslie story, hoping we will forget about Leslie's crimes so she can stay on canvas. Well, she's not not complex to me. I find the character thin. Loved every moment, and Nicole didn't lose her cool until her child was mentioned. Muva😍. Great moment, but Nicole is still lacking in the POV department.
  4. I am having a difficult time connecting with Anita. She wants control, and they're playing it like maybe she doesn't realize that's how she's coming off. These women are the same age as you and probably have grandchildren of their own, and you want them to follow your lead because you know what's best. I find it all unfair. When it comes to the choreography, I see both sides. You're right, when you go to a concert, that's the fun part, doing all those old dance moves, but at the same time, there's nothing wrong with making things fresh and new. I doubt their target demo is looking for a Beyoncé show, though, LMAO.
  5. Wait, RHOA reunion was filmed at the same studio as Beyond The Gates? How cool?
  6. It's getting juicy.
  7. Oh, this is beautiful. What a talent. A true class act.
  8. It's about respect! They wanna be treated as equals. If Anita had called them and asked for their input before her announcement, then maybe one of them would have agreed. But when you continue to overlook people, you are for sure asking for trouble. And this is why Nicole is my favorite. Rich and privileged, but still treat everyone the same.
  9. Thank you so much.
  10. That's true. I would say the opportunity has always been there for Jacob's family to become the rival family. Now will they go there? I don't know. This week of episodes felt so GH-lite, and I don't think that's the move for this show. Why else have a family this size and not dive deep into some family drama and childhood scars? The stories are not bad, but it's the rotation and beats being played that upset me.
  11. Regarding Dani and Anita. I said the same months ago, but the rate we're going, I won't care by the time we get there! Anita is not a good character to me. I can only tolerate her around her family. I don't find anything about her endearing.
  12. Sure, Sharon and Tracy may need this reunion, but let's not forget Anita called them! So her walking away didn't land on the right side for me. It was still her calling the shots and showing them who's boss!
  13. I don't think you're alone there. Many around here enjoyed season 1. Some even list the pilot in their top 10 episodes.
  14. Dani doesn't come off like a big personality to me. It feels so forced and put on. I like her best in her humble scenes with Nicole. I think it's easy to dismiss them as bitter and miserable, but listen to them. Sharon and Tracy don't just want to be in the background anymore; they want to be involved in the creative process. Anita has it all, and you can't be selfless for one night? I don't like that. She only cares about herself and her family.
  15. I don't think they're hating on Anita. Anita is not a team player. Not everything has to be about her or her way. And if she's so damn accomplished, why can't she lay low and let her sisters have a moment?
  16. Season 4. I thought the end of season 2 and early season 3 were soapy though. LOL.
  17. All this. I am losing interest in Dani and Andre.
  18. Not Jacob and Kat sharing dessert, and he looks like he got busted when new boo Bradley walks in lol. I saw that. 🙏🏿
  19. Y'all can kill this Nicole, is so violent act. Nicole has let Leslie get away with a lot: Crashing her events, popping up at her workplace, showing up at her family's mansion, and walking into her home. Nicole should've slapped her when she decided to follow Kat to the police station. Ms. Dana deserved that chokeout, and she should be thankful that was all. Man, she has the best hair on this show. And her outfit was cute too!
  20. I would really like to see more of Laura.
  21. I thought it was cool of the writers to try to connect Hayley-Naomi-Ashley friendships like a few in this thread have been asking. 😝 Same. When she choked Dana/Leslie, I felt that in my soul.
  22. Yass. Eva and Nicole ate.
