  1. Awesome. Thank you for posting this. Even though GH has always been the ABC show I liked the least, I would not be mad at BTG attempting that style. You're right, there is no big sweeping love story at play at the moment, but I see potential. Shelia Ducksworth has said where she placed the Fairmonth crest. I can't remember the name, though maybe Prince-something. I will try to find that interview again. I love that idea of making Dani and Nicole half sisters. They open up so many stories and soapier history for Anita and Vernon. And Martin could have been the one child they share lol. That's also my big issue with the show, I have not figured out what sets them apart from other soaps. In due time, they will have a clear identity.
  2. Let's go, BTG! Thank you, Martin and homies.
  3. I would love to join them lol.
  4. AMC Not making JR and Jamie, the true romantic leads, of the show in the 2000s. Having them both play second fiddle to others when they are the legacy of the show helped kill it. Not utilizing Brooke and the Tyler/Wallingford family more in the last decade or two. Sending Ross Chandler packing and killing Will Cortlandt. I will understand or like those decisions. This would have saved the show from having a revolving door of dead-end baddies in the '90s because having both of Palmer's sons as the resident rascals interests me so much more. @Paul Raven I piggyback on the Victor Newman overload. I think his whole family is played out. B&B Not investing in Felicia Forrester the way they should have. I wish my FiFi were around right now, stirring up a mess. BTG Recasting Ted Richardson. A pointless recast, I might add. I fell in love with Maurice from the first moment he walked on screen, and now that he is gone, I don't have a favorite couple or male character anymore.
  5. As always, Thanks for compiling this all together for us. @Liberty City I love how the top actors rotate every month. A true ensemble. It didn't feel like Jibre was on that much, on second thought, it does. Congrats to JIbre and Colby!
  6. It is a weird coincidence.
  7. S6 was a great season for sure. Val's babies were awesome, and Ruth and Laura were fun, though! I know a lot of people agree with you. They were at the top of their game, Seasons 4/5/6, but my taste gravitates to S5 and S4 more. Season 4 in particular was a very unpredictable year. I liked all the moving pieces within the cast, and the changing of the couples; it all felt fresh. And add in the fact I did not read any spoilers before watching that season, so CiJi's death rocked me cause she was my favorite character that season.
  8. LOL! Is it that bad? I'm inquiring about it only because people keep comparing it to Martin's secret on BTG. @P.J. Thank you!
  9. Still my favorite season because of this. Season 6, while good, I don't think the stories were as tightly woven. Their strongest premiere, some great moments, in between, and the exciting last 7 episodes make the season for me. ICAM!
  10. Hey, do you guys know if the whole Maryanne Carruthers storyline is online?
  11. This was a nicely done write-up. You made some great points here, and I agree with almost all of them. As for Laura, I couldn't agree more about her place on the show, in her neighborhood, and in her friend group. I had some hopes for the character, and they used her properly in the season premiere. But you are correct, she instantly becomes a secondary character compared to her peers. I thought the timing was off; she deserved to be leading a story and with a clear POV. I get that she was the loner/outsider of her group, but there are ways of playing that up other than me making it up in my head lol. She needed some scenes at home struggling with her children, changing a light bulb, taking out the trash, and saying she can't go to an event because she has no babysitter. Laura did at times seem cold because they only gave her cynical one-liners. I wish they had done better by her.
  12. Got it! I see what you're saying. I just skimmed through their social media. You're right. Thanks @Errol for speaking facts about the budgets.
  13. What would you like to see on their social media?
  14. I think in general the cliffhangers could be more soapy now. We are close to 100 episodes it's time. Today’s cliffhanger was ok but knowing them the next episode won't pick back up there. I happen to like Martin’s storyline. It's the only one delivering on mystery and intrigue for me. Having all these men interacting together has added a level of excitement to the story too. I have tons of questions like how Vernon and Joey are buddies? How will the outcome impact Jacob and his father? Martin and Smitty? And Jacob and Naomi? Who is Vernon constantly speaking to on his phone? Will Malone make it to his retirement or end up in jail? And anticipating Nicole's reaction to yet another secret behind her back. She has the best hair on the show.
  15. I love you. You're a real one. I share the same sentiment. I am sure a podcast like the one you described would have been great and probably high-rated too. Not my ideal choice for co-hosts. I will certainly tune ina nd support though. I think it is wonderful how CBS and P&G seem to be about soaps today. I love it!
  16. I figured most families would be out doing activities anyway, so I am not too mad about it. Enjoy your vacay! He looked amazing in the *Lighter* suit too. I love how you think. Here for it!
  17. I agree Allison is just making stuff up to hold on to Chelsea. I couldn't agree more about Bill. Was this the first time we saw him in a different colored suit? He stood out for some reason like a tree.
  18. Hayley and Leslie are linking up!
  19. I enjoyed the Eva and Leslie brunch scene. The character of Leslie needed these scenes. More layers and nuances. And it felt genuine for once. Chelsea, Allison, and Madison all have similar facial features. Looks like Allison will cause some trouble for the new couple.
  20. 😍 Absolutely. Now, it probably would have been wiser to push all the interviews the actors did this week to next week and tease the audience. Just to keep the fan engagement going on social media. That's awful. I spoke about the show with a P&G vendor, and they knew exactly what I was speaking about.
  21. And I would stop watching. Same. I wasn't bored one bit. I am looking forward to more family scenes like that with the family throwing shade over the dinner table for the holiday scenes.
