  1. I agree. Jackie didn't beat her tail well enough for me. I've been ready for Chantel to be fired before the fight even went down. She's awful.
  2. Yeah, they're taking advantage of the Love Island fans, especially after the press release today of them breaking records. I am sure the housewives shows and The Traitors bring great traffic to the platform too!
  3. Awesome news. Congratulations to all the decision makers.
  4. Hahaha! Lovely photo. They still look good. Thanks for this.
  5. Thank you!
  6. Two love scenes, how exciting? Riveting.
  7. Shanice and Derek were very sweet in this episode. I hope they continue to go in the fun and comedic direction with them. Things are getting dark on the other side of the canvas. This is the first role I have enjoyed with Karla Mosley. She was a nothing-burger on GL, and very hit-and-miss on BB. I thought she did well today not much of a fan when she is playing over the top. And no, I never saw Dani as the "Bad" one. We've been waiting and asking for more conflict between her and her mother, but that has yet to happen. Today's episode was just okay for me. Nothing outstanding. Something is lacking from a lot of these scenes. I feel they're moving Nicole around too fast, and her scenes are not landing. Her perspective is still muffled. Nicole's scenes with both Ted and Martin should've been longer and gone deeper into conversation. All her scenes today felt anticlimactic. I agree. It's too late now to go back; there's more drama to play with them being overbearing grandparents, even though it would have made more sense for him to be their child. I am moving on from that.
  8. Rest In Peace, Malcolm Jamal Warner. I loved him something fierce.
  9. It was watchable, but I wouldn't say it was good. I did enjoy some stuff, though—the inclusion of the podcaster, influencer, and more fluid characters. I also thought the hanging of the dead bodies was cool. The movie has a CW Soap vibe. I did not hate the reveal of the killer; I just hoped the writing supported him more. I would have liked to see him having more issues with the governor and the cops in town, maybe trying to close his bar and force him out of town. Since the group was innocent here, I wish Stevie had just blackmailed them for money. There was a lack of chase scenes, and Julie and Ray were not in it enough for me. Julie deserved at least one chase scene. I didn't feel a sense of urgency until the post-credits scene. Danica's dream sequence felt more like a nightmare. Maybe it was her guilty conscience because a part of me thinks she was in on it with the killers, and they're holding off on that for the sequel.
  10. Well, I am glad you had such a good time. But I prefer the Scream sequels, the last one was fun, it's the superior franchise IMO. I do look forward to catching up with these characters though, and the surprise cameos.
  11. Really? I see viewers are divided by the film. Some agree with you, while others strongly disagree. I will check it out, especially for the post-credits scene.
  12. True. Accurate. To go even further, Andre is a character I feel gets decent enough screen time, but not enough time is being spent on developing his characterization. We know nothing about him. Thought it was just me. I agree. Too much time off-screen makes viewers disinterested. And I would love it too!
  13. To be fair, Monty B said if he had the chance to rewrite, which means he is fine with the way things are. Jibre Hordges has had chemistry with all his screen partners, but the real reason for the constant fanfic is more about the lack of an affair happening in real time. It has already been said multiple times how Dani/Bill/Hayley would have worked better if we had seen it play out.
  14. Thank you for all you @Errol . Same 🤣
  15. Yes, it sadly was. The children did attend her award ceremony, but I don't remember any dialogue.
  16. It's very telling that Martin could be so considerate and thankful for his grandparents and not show concern about how Nicole was doing after learning what happened. They could have written that he was going to call and check on her. I know Nicole stormed off, but why not have it where at least Anita offered to have the driver take her home? And what a coincidence that her husband, with whom she had loads of chemistry, was recast.
  17. And I respectfully disagree with that. Nicole is not treated with the same care as the other core characters. Even though she wasn't on every day, Anita had moments from week one that let you know her position in that family, and fun moments that let her stand out. Dani was given the same from week one, and she was also given loads of quiet mirror scenes and flashbacks after her betrayal. Nicole has not gotten to do the same, heck, even Dana got to have fun mirror moments that showcase her craziness. I am sure the writing for Anita/Vernon is intentional. But away from the family, Nicole needed more moments about her inner thoughts, and the writers have not written that.
  18. That's all fine and makes the family dynamic more complex, but why hasn't it shown up in the dialogue yet?
  19. Nope. That started, I wanna say around episode 3.
  20. You can't scoop everything under the table, and the Duprees will hopefully learn that the hard way. Somewhere during the 2-year gap, it should have come up. And the fact that Anita did not apologize for overstepping her hand. Nicole is just not family, she's his mom, and that's messed up. Anita robbed her of being there for Martin when he needed her most.
