  1. What's her debut episode?
  2. IA. Even though I wasn't born yet lol. I give the edge to Wisner because once he leaves, all those classic wrong side of the tracks character types never make a real comeback. His AMC was a soap for EVERYBODY! It was a screwball setup that worked, and a lot of other soaps have not been able to replicate it, in my opinion. I know when others talk about soaps being easy to reboot today, the go-to is always Dark Shadows/Edge Of Night, but I truly believe a modern reboot on Pine Valley could be revolutionary. The things I crave to watch were already being touched on with the show, imagine if a writer with true imagination were to make a reboot of the canvas and become more progressive with the themes and elements that already worked here.
  3. Nothing I wasn't expecting to read that. I respect your opinion, though.
  4. Hmmm. Don't feel like that. I like and look forward to your write-ups.
  5. RHOA I'm not sure if Angela is a top-tier housewife. She has potential for sure. IMO, all the newbies are on the same level, each has had their highs and lows, and I see value in each of them tbh. The problem is that there isn't a producer around to help them find their lane and deliver a worthy personal story. I don't think we need any more OG/Vet returns. Porsha, Phaedra, and Cynthia are a decent starting point, and build around them correctly. All the constant cast changes have hurt them because they forgot to develop a second-in-command group of talent that they can swap in during times like this. I would only welcome back Nene. I don't think Bravo found the right chemistry and balance to return the show to its glory days. I agree, ATL was very mid to me. OC is starting out very slow to me it's early so i will be nice for now.
  6. Loved all the Soul Food openers.
  7. Great news! Neither one is a favorite of mine, but I will support them! @Maxim I so agree with you here. Housewives and a few other reality shows are soap operas, lol.
  8. Here me out. That's the vibe I get from them. And he lowkey be checking her out, lol. Unpopular opinion, but I always got cartoon vibes from Leslie. It's all the comedic beats and the wig moments. The different personalities would've worked better stretched out over time. @Rmodelboy I am glad we can agree on Andre and Regina.
  9. I did not hate the episode. I was very interested in some of the conversations. From the June and Regina showdown to Dana and Eva's manipulation face-off, and the musical chairs with Doug/Vanessa/Joey. I loved Andre in this episode. He looked good, his pad is gorgeous. We got more characterization, and he was romantic. He is the romantic lead of the show. I haven't warmed to Ashley yet, but I like what they did with him today. Brace yourselves, I'm going to say something super off the wall(not shocking): Keith should have been cast as Kat's love interest. He makes more sense to me as her older, accomplished boyfriend.
  10. Cheers to 100th episode milestone.
  11. They do stand around a lot at the hospital, and after all the drama Leslie caused I expected to see some security around. Maybe the picture was distorted from being rained on. I pray we are being misdirected.
  12. I hope that you're right. Thank you! That's one of the main issues I have with it. A custody battle would bore me to tears. @janea4old I am sure the stories will play out differently, but they are the same in theme, that's all. I said months ago that there were many storylines about the past, and this doesn't change my view. I feel a new show should be creating history instead more than half focusing on so many of the characters' past lives.
  13. I agree. The year without him was good to me, but I can see how someone BTS could feel like an element was missing.
  14. The storyline is very similar to Leslie and Ted's in nature and will play similar beats like lost time, reconnection, motherhood, etc.
  15. I find the story angle to be lazy. June's journey did not have to be connected to Tyrell and Samantha. It's a cheap route to take, in my opinion. It lacks a real sense of urgency and comes off as simplistic.
  16. Yeah, the June story is officially another dud.
  17. It's great that CBS/P&G are still promoting the show this far after its premiere.
  18. And my girl Laura. lol
  19. 💯 I agree. The triangle doesn't work for me. Keith lacks real smoking chemistry with both ladies IMO, and the writing ruins him as a viable character, TBH, people are already hating him, so to go there, would be character Su!cide. TBTP should focus on developing him and adding more likable qualities before some plotty triangle.
  20. What a welcome change it was to have Nicole on for most of the week. I'm very grateful, but at the same time extremely disappointed. I have no clue what they're vision and end goals are. Some of Nicole's behavior is erratic; they're writing her more like Dani(Barging into others' homes), and I do not like it. Why on earth would she go to Leslie's house and touch her neck? Stupid! The writers do a great job of making Dana seem more clever and smart compared to the actual Smart one. I am cool with Tomas and Eva becoming the real deal sometime in the future. The characters make sense together and I like them. I would also accept a recast of Tomas. I feel bad for Kat; she deserves much better. Since majority of the Dupree women have dated down, I would like to see the opposite for Kat. Hopefully, another rich rascel would find his way into Fairmont Crest for her soon. June's storyline still does absolutely nothing for me. I don't care if she winds up related to Hayley or Martin's kids.
  21. Debbi Morgan (Angie, All My Children) and Robert C. Riley (Carlton, Beyond The Gates) will both be filming a Lifetime holiday film starring Brandy. https://deadline.com/2025/07/brandy-norwood-daughter-syrai-smith-cast-lifetime-film-1236466184/
