  1. (Referring to the tweet) I believe the Duprees are the central core family, too. What I gathered from his comment was that maybe the show was building an even more powerful family. Thinking about Dante, what are the chances that he has more wealth and power than Anita? I don't see it happening. Could be interesting...
  2. I must say, so happy they put both shows on the same night. Banger episodes, too. RHOC I would like to root for Katie, but I'm just not there yet. I do like her, but I don't see her lasting after this season. Ugh, I will let the Gretchen and Jen scam play out. I had to LOL when they were scrabbling for feuds once Tamra went M.I.A shows you just how fake they all are. RHOM This was a great episode. Julia doesn't add much, but everything else was entertaining. KiKi always dressed to the nines and was ready to turn up if need be. The argument she had with Adriana was like the cherry on top of an already great episode. Lisa/Larsa was the centerpiece that kept giving, but glad Lisa unfollowed Marcus. RHOLDN The link will probably be gone by the time I get to watching. I still have not watched any of international franchises. Very soon...
  3. I haven't seen the chemistry with either actress, but I can buy NuTed being manipulated by Leslie. I agree, it would be nice to have a Nicole/Ted scene that's about them and their history without pushing the plot to test their chemistry.
  4. Nice to witness a scene between Ted and Bill. Much needed! Yeah, I don't see Nicole and Carlton being long-term. It feels too out of character for her to get serious with him. Eva does a great job being Leslie's conscience. That's a badass blazer Anita has on. Chelsea abducted?! 🫢 Next week looks exciting!
  5. I feel so bad for Nicole. She didn't deserve this. My girl is spacing out as if she's planning a murder.
  6. I enjoyed the scenes at the Dupree mansion yesterday. Bill vs. everybody. Bill and Nicole really seem to hate each other right now, and I love it. LOL. I think it's tempting to pair Ted and Leslie as some screwball couple, but if you're writing from character, it makes zero sense. The writing badly damages Ted's character as it is, nobody but Leslie fans would support that. I wish we had gotten more screentime with ChelseaKat. I am personally very hungry for a business storyline. Quite a surprise that the Duprees don't have their hands in several other businesses.
  7. Vanessa had better remember where her loyalty lies.
  8. Cynthia Watros has been hilarious this week 🤣.
  9. @Aback I saw several comments suggesting that perhaps Peaches is faking her illness and trying to pull a con on Leslie once she gets the money. That could be interesting. Very valid point made about the sensitivity of the social issue on the show. I certainly understand that!🙂 Appreciate your thoughtful input - your perspective was both helpful and refreshing. Thank you.
  10. I read a comment that some didn't find the Hawtrone's that compelling. I disagree; the window of opportunity has always been there. Imagine Jacob doing the right thing, exposing Martin's secret, and turning in his father. The material (Jibre) could get would certainly be compelling, especially with his own family.
  11. Watching Leslie go so hard for her mother, Barbara, whom she had never met, actually had me wondering about Laura and her family. I wonder why they didn't play the beat of her kinfolk visiting her at the hospital, and even threatening to sue Nicole if nothing happens to Leslie.
  12. No problem! We've all been there. I've been on this board for over 15 years, and that's always been the culture. For whatever reason, people are acting brand new and super sensitive when it comes to BTG. I understand and respect if you need to remove yourself from the thread for a little while, but I hope you return soon. It's (authentic) posts like yours that have kept me lurking on the board. I would like to hear you elaborate on this. With love...
  13. I need to spotlight this trinity of lead actresses that BTG has with TT, DD, and KM. They have such a solid foundation for a thrilling soap opera. The variety of personalities is unprecedented for black characters on one show. That includes the entire canvas of women characters. My witches of eastwick...
  14. I would love to check this out.
  15. Turning Drew bad was such a great idea, Cameron is having a ball in this role.
  16. Whomever they choose should have a knack for quirky and oddball characters to be a great fill-in for the soaps they lost. ABC soaps were always more out there and progressive, so Marc was an inspired choice IMO.
  17. @All My Shadows @GLATWT88 As for June, I want to let you guys know you're not alone; I share the same and even more brutal feelings. I just didn't wanna bring down the thread, but I see you, and hear you!
  18. I see the vision 👏🏿. The last few weeks have built to this moment and they delivered. Hopefully, she doesn't have much else going on. Happy we are seeing more of Shanice. I don't mind having a balance of both sides of her, the professional and nosy. Agreed on TT and TMG. Wonderful screen partners.
  19. The continuation of Leslie and Anita's confrontation was good. The actresses were amazing today, and the writing elevated them. I must say that I sided more with Anita here. Great to see some of the Chicago Project come to life. I agree it was reminiscent of many of the great daytime feuds. I cheered when Ms. Anita slapped Leslie, it was earned from the moment to came in the door. So looking forward to more. Not shocked at all by Ron C. being the writer, this is his wheelhouse. Now for the rest of the episode... I am just not into these other stories right now. I agree that things were pretty boring. Andre looked good, though.
