Members sheilaforever
I liked that set and all it’s incarnations. Originally, it was Victors penthouse set, I think.
Members Chatty Cakes
Did that set also serve as Devon’s recording studio?
Members BoldRestless
I posted it in the Vault, look under Full Episodes 1973 https://bit.ly/2A3Bnhv I've yet to watch it myself! Edit: I'm watching and the audio is buffering a lot. Hopefully I can get a better version Monday. Edited July 18, 2020 by BoldRestless
Members All My Shadows
I have a very teeny tiny but strange observation - they couldn't clear that short piece of background music that opens the very first shot of the truck!? They replaced it with a sound-alike version.
Members yrfan1983
Bless you! You know that all of us here in the US were trembling with anticipation waiting for the Monday airing Please register in order to view this content
Members trainman
I noticed that. Thought I was hearing things, or that they may have found a better version of the original piece of music. It's very similar, yet seems a bit different, with more of a beat. I don't know... There were also a couple of modern cues added that I know were not there there originally, maybe to fill some quiet scenes. The rest of the music seems to be original. Members Legacy
Yes i noticed even in the ending scene when the Brooks family was cleaning up the dinner table, that music cue came more in the 80's i think so i know that wasn't original. Members EllenP
Did the 1973 opening ever get an update? And did Jeanne Cooper or Jaime Lyn Bauer ever appear in it? I know it was altered around 1975, but Y&R was always slow to update their opening credits until the JFP era. Like the show would go 2+ years without adding prominent cast members. And up to 6 years for the opening at the end of MAB’s run. The red opening never added any new cast members in the early 2000s. And the 1990s opening was only updated every 2 or 3 years. Members Forever8
That is one of my favorite music cues on Y&R. Does anyone know the name of it?

Members YRfan23
So glad to finally see the second episode! Please register in order to view this content The first and second shows edited together actually worked really well and though some things were cut it was still easy to follow along with the sequence of the scenes. Seeing the entire Brooks family together (minus Lorie) was great, It's interesting how Bill Bell definitely explained the class difference between the upper working class Brooks and the Poorer Fosters just by the dinner scenes, and we see the Foster household where an exhausted Liz has to basically act as both father and mother. It's definitely easy to tell where Snapper and then later Jill would get the desperation to make sure their family wouldn't stay poor for the rest of their lives. I guess Greg was the only Foster Sibling to not really try to appear as a social climber.

Members kalbir
@YRfan23 That episode might have Sharon #2 and Amy #1. Going by memory here, Julianne Morris came on in early September 1994 (either during the US Open short week or the week after) and Sharon Case came on mid-September. Members YRfan23
Yes, Cause Sharon Case debuted 9/6/94 so it would be the second one... Nick/Sharon week? (Lord please stick with 94-96 episodes, and stay far away from 2005 and beyond) Edited July 18, 2020 by YRfan23
