Christopher Sean seemed like one of very few in recent years who wanted to leave to pursue other options and has actually had success, rather than hanging outside the Burbank studio hoping Corday will have a change of heart.

It was his decision to leave, but yeah they really should have recast Paul. I’ve been hoping CS would come back ever since his animated series got cancelled

Freddie looks fine to me. And he’ll be ok. Freddie has lots of side jobs. No worries. 

Again they should've canceled Days instead. The soap is not going to get any better and the sets are nonexistent. The soap would've been canceled long ago had NBC found a replacement for it.

I didn't say it in my blast the other night on the DAYS board, but WilSon are taking up two slots that should go to others. Unfortunately, the characters got boxed in by terrible writing/stories. Should they be a part of the Salem's fabric? Absolutely - legacy characters with ties everywhere. The execution has been terrible - I have to FF through nearly all scenes involving them. 

 

The current rhetoric is that "gays" are cut first. But we know that's false after GG's announcement last week. DAYS has to reinvent itself to survive.

 

It's not like they can't come back. In fact, they'll probably start filming before they 'officially' exit.

Well Ron was HW at OLTL when they cut Kyle & Oliver (Kish) in March 2010. They had no exit. Just stopped appearing

Even if I do not like an actor in a role, I dont relish in someone being fired. Maybe that is just me

I can see them replacing everyone exiting with others who deserve some time on the main show. It was time for a shakeup.

 

I just want to know if this is all budget cutting, is it making room on the canvas for others or is it freeing the budget for a big name?
