I guess I should have said how instead of why bc I know he's out to get Sharon. Did he just bribe the docs to ignore the rules? He shouldn't be able to dictate Phyllis treatment nor be able to force some experimental drug on her without consent

Nick and Sharon's engagement was beautiful. Glad that they have finally been able to make their way back to each other. They've only been married once right? Of course the succubus who ruined them before is now awake

Why is Victor all over her treatment anyway? He is not family and all types of laws are being broken here

Michael really cant get it up for Lauren? I wonder where they are going with this

It wasn't that long ago that this show had a bunch of hot guys. What happened to all of them?

Only one of them could really act. That might have something to do with it.

He tricked Summer into signing a consent form and made sure Daniel was out of town with an art show.

I'm with you. I don't mind if a pretty face comes with a mediocre actor, but I can't tolerate flat out terrible acting, no matter how pretty the face. MO is a prime example of that right now. She's flat out dreadful, imo.

MO would be far more tolerable if her line delivery and tone weren't so abrasive. It's like nails on a chalk board. The actress is almost unlikeable. Partly, because writers tried to make her a heroine type too at one point. And she just can't pull it off with that delivery. If they must kerp MO, they should just make her a full on unapologetic bitch and foil to one of the other younger ladies who can pull off being a heroine. And don't ask me which one can at this point but I do think Mishael Morgan and Hunter King do a decent job in the sweet wide eyed role.

I assume when you say MO, you mean Melissa Ordway? If so, she did play a decent bitch on Hollywood Heights.

While I do think Mishael morgan has done a good job as the heroine.. I kind of miss her snarkiness.

Abby needs to get back to taking numbers. Seeing her as a victim during the Mariah stuff was out of character. Abby needs a reset - maybe with Ashley back, that will happen.

Kevin could be Mariah's BOB (Bend Over Boyfriend). It's about time that soaps explore this "relationship" angle. Seriously, the Kevin character should've gone off canvas with Jana. I actually really enjoyed that relationship - it was a mistake to get rid of her character, especially in the awful way they did it.

After all these years it's still offensive that Kevin (a serial pedophile) had more in the way of overall story & romance than Devon.

Kevin & Jana worked largely because Emily O'Brien was a better actress than she was given credit for. Unfortunately she never got a chance to do more than hold Kevin's hand & stand around as a glorified extra in Baldwin Fisher scenes before she inevitably went psycho.

Yes. I meant MO. I didn't watch HH but I can believe that she can play bitch. The problem is relying on her delivery to show that she has a heart. And that doesn't work. It needs to be in the writing for her.

I think Mishael is one of the two actresses on the show that can play heroine and not become boring, insipid, and a chore to watch. Sharon Case being the other.

Please do NOT start me on the wide disparity between Kevin and Devon and what they were given by way of romance and story on this show. It really bothers me. And not just because I am a Devon/BJ fan but because it is indicative of all that is wrong with daytime.

My favorite part of Friday's episode was Nikki looking like she wanted to snatch that martini right out of Avery's hands. Good job, MTS.

I think the 2nd day of Malcolm/Neil scenes seemed a bit all over the place because they were trying to cram a week's worth of dialogue into two days' worth. It does seem, however, that Y&R was trying to simultaneous pick and leave behind some aspects of the Darius McCrary time on Y&R--which, I admit, doesn't faze me much since I'd taken a break from Y&R and wasn't watching then.

Unfortunately, the result of taking and leaving and cramming, is that some of the scenes came off a bit scattershot and unfocused, IMO.

I still think there were some poignant moments and acknowledgement of certain aspects previously not truly explored-- like Neil's many failed relationships and him not truly dealing with Dru's death and her status as his greatest love (for some reason, I feel like SM may have added that one in--about Dru being Neil's greatest love).

And like I mentioned in a previous post, KSJ seemed more alert and invested in his scenes than I've seen in quite a long time.

As for Kevin, I honestly don't see any pairing that has worked for him, other than Jana. Harding is not going to work, and neither would Chavez for the simple fact that they are not kooks, they are grounded in reality. Jana was a kook, for the most part, which is why she worked. Kevin's Dungeons and Dragons self needs to be with someone who is as unmoored as he is. Someone grounded in reality is not gonna do it.

Meredith Baxter is not bad in the role but in watching those table scenes with Stitch and Kelly, I couldn't help but wonder how much more entertaining those scenes might have been if it were CW and MB going at it instead of CM, who just seems to be playing another aspect of Roseanna.

IA but I was wondering how they could have used Malcom in two days...what could have been done differently...

Kevin is just asexual to me ... Jana was the last one in recent times that he had chem with. I think there was one other one early on.

CM is giving me nothing in in this role, she's not even interesting to look at at his point and her acting is bland and stiff. She can go tomorrow and that'll be that. Her acting against MB really highlighted how bad she is. It was painful to watch.

I tried again to watch a week for Malcolm's return and this show is BAD. I know many seem content with what they're getting and find it watchable, but I thought it was so awful and of course it didn't feel like Y&R. The stories continue to have no momentum and so many boring characters. I'll never understand this new old Billy, Abby has always struggled to be interesting, but Stitch drains ALL the energy out of her. Dylan and Avery are still boring, Christine is being wasted on Paul who has also become boring. Nikki drinking is not enjoyable in the execution. I didn't find anything interesting about Meredith Baxter's character and there is no purpose for her on the canvas. Cady McClain is still terrible as Kelly and the list goes on.

The only bright spot the show has is the Nick/Sharon story with Mariah and I do like the fact that the black characters get screentime again, but the stories are SO BAD. Unfortunately I feel this team is here to stay since there isn't much backlash.

I'm having visions of Mariah and Kevin having a bedroom scene with Mariah being on top of Kevin thrusting away. This will never happen but it's thought I had when you posted this.
