Members victorlord75
Thank you so much for sharing the clip! I am sure even viewers in 1968 were saying how over the top it was for a defendant for murder and the main witness testifying against them living in the same house and (sort of) interacting daily. Martin West's Phil was the only Phil I knew. He did a great job portraying a love-to-hate character. He has the dubious honor of reciting some of the most embarrassing lines in soap history. His character supposedly suffered from impotence, but, during a tense scene with Diana, he suddenly discovered that his plumbing was actually working and exclaimed, "I'm a man!" while the camera cut away for him to rape Diana behind a couch. Good thing I was not watching with my mother that day. The scene that I remember most of Phil was when everyone thought Phil was dead. Jessie had married Dr. Peter Taylor, and she and Peter were all lovey dovey, decorating a Christmas tree, and for whatever reason, the setup was perfect for Phil to witness the whole thing through a window!
Members DRW50
I did wonder at first if Jessie and Polly were meant to be living together. I wonder whatever happens to that house. Geez. That part with Diana sounds awful. Frankly, it sounds like a porn setup. The moment with Jessie and Peter sounds like something I wish I could see. I wish they could have let Jessie have some happiness. I know in the early '80s she sort of dated that guy who worked at the hospital but that's all. At least she wasn't murdered, like Jessie 2.0 (Diana). Edited Sunday at 03:00 PM by DRW50

Members depboy
I was alerted to this one’s premiere on YouTube and it didn’t disappoint! I was confused by the episode description stating that Shelby Hiatt (Jane Harland Dawson) was in the episode, but otherwise, what a treat! Thanks for the tag.

Members Dion
Not only pregnant but actually in the middle of a self-induced abortion gone wrong - Phil was rushing her to General Hospital. I (and others here) only found that particular part of the story due to Depboy's summaries.

Members Dion
Yes, they were really interesting to read. A fair amount more short term patient storylines than I expected. Please register in order to view this content No worries, I often check this thread anyway. Edited Sunday at 09:11 PM by Dion
Members DRW50
It's a shame the show moved so far away from that (PC tried briefly around 1999 or 2000), but then when you have a cast of 500 you aren't going to focus on patients. I didn't even know about any history with Phil and Audrey as I'm not as vested in old GH as I should be. Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to check out what's available in the episodes.
