I remember there were some episodes shared during that era where Devon was trying to be a wife to Wally, who was basically checked out of their marriage due to his feelings for Betsy.   And Devon confronted Betsy while I was sitting there thinking 'This story was never mentioned in any AMC history books'... but at least Devon/Wally's arc was mentioned while Betsy was never mentioned at all.

Although I was also surprised that Betsy was buddies with Sybil Thorne.  Two characters so different from one another being friends was fascinating to me.

Thanks! There's never enough early 1980s AMC around.    The only actor I don't recognize is the actress playing Wanda, Mike's agent.

This is so great, thanks for sharing!!!  Ahh, this must have been right after Jenny died. The flashback montage with Jesse/Jenny was very sweet. I remember my mom saying she was always devastated when Jenny died.

That was such a moving little surprise. I remember reading some comments over the years about why the show never paired them up, but even beyond the clear reasons why, I kind of prefer it this way. I'm so glad their friendship was remembered and seen as meaningful by the show. 

Jenny's death is one of the few of a major character that stuck. The impact was never what it should have been because Greg stopped being a major character not long after her death, but it still shows the strength you can have on a soap if you allow a character who meant a lot to so many (characters and fans) to stay dead. 

(no comment on the Jenny doppelganger plot)

@DRW50 Thanks for the tag. Amazing find. I am with you on Jenny's impact, I also think it would have made a fascinating watch as Greg stayed around much longer. I'm such a softie for anything Jesse/Jenny related. Remember, someone posted his touching Eulogy at her funeral a few years ago.

This is an era of AMC I’ve read much about yet seen so little of. 

Vincent Irizarry throws in a quick mention that he was dating Catherine Hickland when he first heard about Marj. 

I wonder when this was..? She was married to David Hasselhoff for a good bit of the 80's. And then MEK for most of the 90's.

Fun fact... David Hasselhoff played Michael Knight on Knight Rider. Then she married an actor named the same as her first husband's character.
