  1. OC is coming back on Monday April 14 I believe the date is. Is New Jersey coming back after ATL is over, therefore still giving us 3 airing at the same time?
  2. Yikes! That's awful. I wish they were on Mondays. I know they've been on Tuesdays in the past, but I don't think a Housewives has been on a Tuesday since 2011 (I don't count Miami, if indeed they were once on Tuesdays). Hopefully it'll pick up soon.
  3. Wow, good for them! I haven't watched the finale yet, but I watched Tyler's talk show with the cast. The cast looks fun. Sad that Benny is indeed dead, haha. No more eye candy. But jeez louise, Tyler Perry sure does love himself! There's something about him that just irks me. It's like, if the conversation veers too far off course where someone isn't praising his brilliance, he has to reel them back in.
  4. Hahahahah!!! I just watched this episode a couple weeks back, it's right when Ramona told Cindy that she doesn't judge anyone, and that was Jill's side reaction, LOL I *love* to see NYC back! I thought the first portion with all the ladies at the party was good. Overall, we didn't get enough Carole & Heather last night. I love their genuine friendship and their realness. We got a bit too much of new girl Kristen. They could've held off on the restaurant scene with her husband til the next episode (or, just not air it at all. To get all worked up for being late to a dinner date was silly & contrived, and the BJ comments were just icky) Ramona was on Bethenny's talk show yesterday and she said LuAnn doesn't show until episode 5. They were very funny together, and it was hilarious how Bethenny was trying to shade Jill, but Ramona just slid right past it and started gabbing about Heather and the new current season. I can see why Ramona is going to be "the voice of reason" this season (can you believe it?!). She's more subdued. Even her voice is at a lower pitch. On last night's show and on Bethenny's show, her tone was lower; there was none of that shrieking outburst tone that she's well known for. I can't believe what a beautiful young lady Avery has become and I love Ramona's devotion to her. Aviva and her delusions look delicious. She will be getting into it with everyone. Love! Overall, I thought last night's premiere was low key, but there's SO much potential and good stuff coming. I feel they just needed to get the reconciliation with Ramona & Aviva out of the way so that they can proceed with all the new twists, dynamics, and alliances.
  5. Yes!! That was so rude of Yolanda and Brandi to just insert themselves into the conversation going on between Mauricio and Ken/Lisa. She was quite annoying overall last night. I think Brandi brings a mainstream press to Beverly Hills that Gretchen does not do for O.C. Overall, the OC wives are just Bravolebrities that don't make it to mainstream press like Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Teresa Guidice, and Jill/Bethenny did/do.
  6. For the record, Porsha said mud SWINGING. Such an adorable idiot. Nobody mucks up common phrases like The OC ladies. Now that Gretchen and Jesus Jugs are gone, not sure if those slip ups will be as common. BH's Ken is such a superstar. He's not mugging for airtime like Papa Smurf, he's just defending his wife and tired of the B.S. In all honesty, he reminds me of how my hubby would react to defend my honor. Very different approach to end the season, showing them "Six Months Later" getting glammed up for the reunion. Seemed too forced to create a so-called cliffhanger. It's like, "yeah this season sucked, but the reunion will make up for it!" I think that kind of build up to the reunion would've been perfect for New Jersey season 2 when they all hadn't seen Danielle in a year.
  7. I actually like Kyle's house. It's not a grand mansion with its own zip code like Yolanda, Lisa, or Camille, but it's a good size, nicely landscaped, and a big backyard. Kim's and especially Brandi's indeed look sad. What a contrast to the oppulence of season one.
  8. Judging from the reruns they just aired of New York Season 1, what you just described of Yolanda would constitute as storyline. It's amazing how the focus changed. Season 1 of NYC was literally about their housewife lives, raising their children, handling their businesses, and various hobbies. And they showed the housewives going on outings with people who were their real friends, not "friends of" semi-castmembers or anything like that. Totally different show. The biggest rift was Ramona vs. Jill for a friendly tennis match, and one time Ramona didn't invite Jill to a party that was full of non-Housewives castmembers anyhow. Kyle looks fantastic for her age, can't deny that. If she's had any type of minor work done, they did a flawless job.
  9. Great recap Cat, as always. Kim's ex is a hottie mctottie! She must've bagged him before all the sun damage set in. (Side note: after seeing people like Kim in her 40's after years of tanning, I'm done with fake-baking. I'll just stay my pasty pale self and stop doing damage to myself!) Seeing Taylor was refreshing. You are so right. She knew her place. Yes, she originally fronted with 60K birthday parties or whatnot, but post-Russell, she knew she was the messy tag-along, but a harmless one. It was also great to see Camille on WWHL. Andy just loves saying her full name and you know he'd love her to return. So would I. Gigi is one lucky girl! Damn!
  10. Why do these idiots join reality TV? It just brings more exposure to them.
  11. What a refreshing change! Because we need another Melissa Gorga in this franchise.
  12. I agree that Danielle needed to go after Season 2. But I think she could make a delicious re-entrance, much like Dina is doing, especially now that Caroline and Wacko Jacquo are out. Lemme tell ya, I watched that awful Famous Food on VH1 a couple years back just to see her looney tunes behind, and she delivered the crazy just as expected and it was hilarious.
  13. Glad I'm not the only one I wish they could've convinced her to return (apparently they asked, but she declined). She is the perfect kinda crazy for reality TV. Finally watched BH. In agreement with others; the whole episode gave me an uneasy feeling. I have to agree with the fabulous knight in shining armor Ken, protecting his wife and seeing through their b.s. set-up for an attack. Now *that's* a husband most people could only dream of having (mine would do the same for me, thankfully!). The whole attack reaked of desperation on the part of Brandi, Yolanda, Splits, and Rambles. It's like they think they can take down The Queen and then rule the empire themselves, but without Lisa to talk about, their empire crumbles and they become a sea of nothingness (plus they would undoubtedly turn on each other the next year). Yup, Brandi's dead to Lisa, just as she should be. She made her bed.
  14. They sure announce these things early nowadays. There was already persistent rumors about Kim even before the reunion was taped. I bet she tried her hardest to bring it, which should be painfully obvious to us viewers.
  15. Ew, flashback to junior high! Excellent analysis. I haven't watched BH yet but it all sounds so petty. #TeamLisa I would've rather Andy focused more on Linda Gray on last night's WWHL instead of Kyle and her wounded bird act. NeNe on DWTS? Wow.... This could either redeem her image or be a disaster (and final nail). I'll be watching, though, at least initially. That is too funny! If I had started watching Housewives right off the bat when it originally began airing, I don't think I'd be inspired to watch Atlanta based on this busted up group shot! Sheree and Lisa always looked well put together, I will say though.
  16. That was the highlight. Pretty damn funny! Phaedra was a near no-show on tonight's eppy. Porsha is still just there, watching the drama unfold around her like us, the audience. NeNe is once again coming off quite badly and immature. Some of the dialogue during the NeNe/Marlo/Kenya debacle was telling. Marlo was basically saying she knows NeNe is pissed that the Marlo/Kenya friendship equals more airtime for Miss USA. I would LOVE to see Miss Lawrence get down and dirty and fight Kenya's battles like Brandon. I have a feeling that would be deliciously entertaining. NeNe throwing out more borderline-homophobic remarks. Sigh.... Although I'm fine with her accusing Peter next week of trying to be a bitch, cuz he is one. Today was the first time watching that I realized I missed Wig. Random, I know. Another love-to-hate person. She's not needed, per se, but her personality and comments were entertaining. I don't mean to hate on NeNe, but I had to laugh when she talked about her methods for tuning into the emotions of a role she's about to play. All of her acting roles so far have basically been herself with a different name (Rocky, Coach Roz, etc). Kandi was all sorts of win tonight. She wasn't on as much but she brought a much needed fun energy to the Bailey Bowl.
  17. Right there with ya on the Team Blondes. But as vile a person Jill is in real life, I did enjoy watching her in a love-to-hate fashion, especially seasons 1-3. I like her family dynamic, and her overall "Jewish mother" presence, if that makes sense. Cindy. Ugh. Pointless sourpuss. Her and Kathy Wakile go toe-to-toe in pointless eye-rollers.
  18. Yep, that's Carlton in a nutshell. You know they're in trouble when they're basing storylines off a dream; something that literally did not even happen. Just silly. I wish Pam would stumble in some time this season just to give me something to laugh at.
  19. While we're going down NYC memory lane, Season 5 is currently available on demand for me, so I rewatched the first episode, and I was reminded of another issue with the reboot: the first few episodes, the ladies nitpick Every. Single. Detail. Of. Each. Conversation. It's like really bad. Even for petty Housewives qausi-fights. Because it's 3 women getting to know 3 new women, they really dissect every peak and valley of a conversation, just for the sake of creating drama. Fear not, first-time watchers, it gets better. I know Ramona is not everyone's cup of tea, and sometimes she can be downright wrong and tactless. But I enjoy the hell outta her. And I love her words of wisdom to daughter Avery about learning a craft/skill/trade and learn to be independent so that you never have to rely on the support of a man. Wise words indeed

Ugh. I think it's safe to say she won't be interviewing any important political figures in her life anymore.
  21. It is a very different show versus season 3. The feel of it is different. It doesn't start out with summertime in the Hamptons like previous years. If you liked Ramona, LuAnn, and/or Sonja, there's plenty of them in season 5, along with newbies Heather, Carole, and Aviva. The season starts off with a whimper but ends with a bang. It's one of those where just as it's getting good, the season is over. Mixed reviews of it, but I liked it (save for the first handful of episodes that were ho-hum).
  22. I still think Kelly Bensimon was the most annoying, aggravating one to watch out of all of them. There's no way to have a sane argument with that one. She made no sense yet insisted she was right. Total tw*t.
  23. I always love the ones you hate. Haha... Diff'rent strokes... (although I'm not too big on Vicki overall) Season 3 of NYC is the one I could watch over & over. Best season of all housewives shows by far, IMO Finally, Alex isn't stuck on her own storyline island with Simon, vacationing in the off-season in speedos and trying on clothes and fawning over each other, like in season 2. I still have yet to see the reunion episode of season 1. Maybe Bravo will replay it in the upcoming weeks.
  24. I'm right there with ya, lol. Bypassing all this twitter/charity/Kenya debacle. I can't keep up, although the comments here going back 'n forth are hilarious
  25. I agree that Yolanda was talking trash Lisa, too. The guilty look on her face at the reunion said it all. Cat, another excellent review of this week's RHOBH. I can't decide which nickname for Rambles Richards is my favorite.
