Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Sorry to steal Eric's thunder, but I see Atlanta got 4.3 million this past Sunday, the WWHL with Kim & Sheree got 1.9 mil. Beverly Hills only got 1.8. I hope NYC is able to climb up to at least match BH's numbers.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Ramona said last week on Bethenny's show that she and Alex still wish each other happy birthday, Merry Christmas, etc. and attended a fashion event together recently (or at least, they sat next to each other). I agree that Alex was needed for the Season 5 revamp, if only to have something of substance for LuAnn and for there to be legitimate tension. LuAnn vs. Ramona in the first couple episodes was indeed desperate. Ya just gotta LOL at that driveby bombshell, where LuAnn tells the 3 new girls that Ramona left her a threatening voicemail, and then LuAnn is like, "okay well bye!" I rewatched the Season One reunion of BH. Sigh... the good ol' days when this show was glamorous and blinged out on Beverly Hills extravagance.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The BH reunion was disappointing. A lot of blah with Joyce, Brandi, Yolanda, and the biggest time-filler of 'em all, Sh*t-Stain Pillow Richards. I like that Andy recapped her 4 years on Housewives. I hope that's an indication of her coming full circle to heal herself and send her on her way, full of turtles, squirrels, prayers by the trashcan, and the inevitable mauling by an unruly dog. Brandi is a twat. Is that word censored here? I will say this: I think Joyce has potential for next year. But this year's arguments were petty and uninteresting. Although I believed her over Brandi during the discussion over hairflip-gate. I can't wait to hear the response to Lisa's question next week. Was Carlton there...?

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
His attention to detail and basic common knowledge makes James E Reilly's work look like a masterpiece.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I would think Bravo would love this kind of dedication and keep her around for one more season. Wasn't Jill universally hated after season 3 of NYC? I could be wrong, since I didn't jump on the bandwagon til they were already in season 4. She'll self-destruct even more and be too stupid to realize she shouldn't be airing her grievances on camera anymore. Bravo will air it, Brandi will regret it, and she'll bow out after season 5. That's my prediction.

Yeah, I like how Hannah got arrested and no miranda rights were given, and she's sitting there in jail with no explanation. Hilarious. This show makes my night

I love that the girls had to end up approaching Lisa, even though they are the supposed ones being "wronged." Lisa could've easily bounced without one word spoken. Imagine the hurt puppydog looks Kyle could've practiced! On the ATL front, I *love* that Kim & Sheree will be on together! Kim has noted that she doesn't care about any of her former castmates. Coincidentally, none of the castmates seem to care about Sheree.

DaytimeFan, a brilliant post indeed. I loved your description of Kim's charred butt re: Ken & Lisa. And your points about Yolanda were spot on. I second the hope/request that you cover NYC! Brandi & Kenya on Celebrity Apprentice will make for FANTASTIC trainwreck TV! Battle of the D-List Divas! You know Kenya will bring it. She's like a baby Omarosa only more likeable. Brandi will get creamed. (P.S. I bet NeNe is secretly FUMING over this news!)

I don't think Adrienne will ever be back. Aside from the no-show at the reunion, she brought about all the legal drama with the surrogate secret that she ended up blabbing to a magazine anyhow.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
According to my cable, the season finale was Season 1, Episode 26.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
That was the funniest thing ever!!! She plunged that knife as deep as it could go in his back and he reacted like a bee stung him! And then he proceeds to keep on running? I guess he's just gonna take care of that knife in his back when he gets home from his run? LOL Do they perform these scenes in one take like a daytime soap? I'd love to see the takes they didn't use for that stab scene.

I missed LuAnn, even if she's mostly filler these days. She throws the brick and hides the hand and watches the damage play out.

Ten bucks says that glass is made of plastic. No need for damage control. Aviva is the clear villain and Mario is the cheating spouse.

He's alive? "Praise Jesus, Hosannah in the Highest! Blessed be his holy name!" That's my Hannah impression. Is that revealed in the finale? From what I've seen as of last week, they alluded to him being deceased, but it wasn't completely confirmed, but then TP said he was dead on the talk show. My bad

Argh, in that case, it looks like Bravo may view New York as vital a franchise as Miami is....

OC is coming back on Monday April 14 I believe the date is. Is New Jersey coming back after ATL is over, therefore still giving us 3 airing at the same time?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yikes! That's awful. I wish they were on Mondays. I know they've been on Tuesdays in the past, but I don't think a Housewives has been on a Tuesday since 2011 (I don't count Miami, if indeed they were once on Tuesdays). Hopefully it'll pick up soon.

Wow, good for them! I haven't watched the finale yet, but I watched Tyler's talk show with the cast. The cast looks fun. Sad that Benny is indeed dead, haha. No more eye candy. But jeez louise, Tyler Perry sure does love himself! There's something about him that just irks me. It's like, if the conversation veers too far off course where someone isn't praising his brilliance, he has to reel them back in.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Hahahahah!!! I just watched this episode a couple weeks back, it's right when Ramona told Cindy that she doesn't judge anyone, and that was Jill's side reaction, LOL I *love* to see NYC back! I thought the first portion with all the ladies at the party was good. Overall, we didn't get enough Carole & Heather last night. I love their genuine friendship and their realness. We got a bit too much of new girl Kristen. They could've held off on the restaurant scene with her husband til the next episode (or, just not air it at all. To get all worked up for being late to a dinner date was silly & contrived, and the BJ comments were just icky) Ramona was on Bethenny's talk show yesterday and she said LuAnn doesn't show until episode 5. They were very funny together, and it was hilarious how Bethenny was trying to shade Jill, but Ramona just slid right past it and started gabbing about Heather and the new current season. I can see why Ramona is going to be "the voice of reason" this season (can you believe it?!). She's more subdued. Even her voice is at a lower pitch. On last night's show and on Bethenny's show, her tone was lower; there was none of that shrieking outburst tone that she's well known for. I can't believe what a beautiful young lady Avery has become and I love Ramona's devotion to her. Aviva and her delusions look delicious. She will be getting into it with everyone. Love! Overall, I thought last night's premiere was low key, but there's SO much potential and good stuff coming. I feel they just needed to get the reconciliation with Ramona & Aviva out of the way so that they can proceed with all the new twists, dynamics, and alliances.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yes!! That was so rude of Yolanda and Brandi to just insert themselves into the conversation going on between Mauricio and Ken/Lisa. She was quite annoying overall last night. I think Brandi brings a mainstream press to Beverly Hills that Gretchen does not do for O.C. Overall, the OC wives are just Bravolebrities that don't make it to mainstream press like Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Teresa Guidice, and Jill/Bethenny did/do.

For the record, Porsha said mud SWINGING. Such an adorable idiot. Nobody mucks up common phrases like The OC ladies. Now that Gretchen and Jesus Jugs are gone, not sure if those slip ups will be as common. BH's Ken is such a superstar. He's not mugging for airtime like Papa Smurf, he's just defending his wife and tired of the B.S. In all honesty, he reminds me of how my hubby would react to defend my honor. Very different approach to end the season, showing them "Six Months Later" getting glammed up for the reunion. Seemed too forced to create a so-called cliffhanger. It's like, "yeah this season sucked, but the reunion will make up for it!" I think that kind of build up to the reunion would've been perfect for New Jersey season 2 when they all hadn't seen Danielle in a year.

I actually like Kyle's house. It's not a grand mansion with its own zip code like Yolanda, Lisa, or Camille, but it's a good size, nicely landscaped, and a big backyard. Kim's and especially Brandi's indeed look sad. What a contrast to the oppulence of season one.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Judging from the reruns they just aired of New York Season 1, what you just described of Yolanda would constitute as storyline. It's amazing how the focus changed. Season 1 of NYC was literally about their housewife lives, raising their children, handling their businesses, and various hobbies. And they showed the housewives going on outings with people who were their real friends, not "friends of" semi-castmembers or anything like that. Totally different show. The biggest rift was Ramona vs. Jill for a friendly tennis match, and one time Ramona didn't invite Jill to a party that was full of non-Housewives castmembers anyhow. Kyle looks fantastic for her age, can't deny that. If she's had any type of minor work done, they did a flawless job.

Great recap Cat, as always. Kim's ex is a hottie mctottie! She must've bagged him before all the sun damage set in. (Side note: after seeing people like Kim in her 40's after years of tanning, I'm done with fake-baking. I'll just stay my pasty pale self and stop doing damage to myself!) Seeing Taylor was refreshing. You are so right. She knew her place. Yes, she originally fronted with 60K birthday parties or whatnot, but post-Russell, she knew she was the messy tag-along, but a harmless one. It was also great to see Camille on WWHL. Andy just loves saying her full name and you know he'd love her to return. So would I. Gigi is one lucky girl! Damn!
