  1. Yay! Glad to hear. It was a welcome return and I'm happy to see it continue. I don't mind so much the "friend of" aspect, because these days, the "friends" make impactful moments (i.e. RHOBH's Jennifer Tilly; RHOA's Cynthia, etc.)
  2. It's this decade's "It was murdah!" and they continue to run with it, lol. Maybe one day, Ivy will have her own life again. Which reminds me, they gave Scott Clifton that big "I'm dying" storyline only to reverse course and keep him alive and now he's back to doing nothing?
  3. Samesies! Although I'm surprised Marcia Cross wasn't included (maybe she declined or wasn't available), I was delightfully surprised to see good ol' Rhonda back in the mix.
  4. Bless you :)
  5. I adore it!!! I've been listening non-stop since Saturday. I've got my gym playlist synced up so I play this and then it flows into Future Lovers next; the perfect match. I hope someone creates a remix that combines the two.
  6. Agreed. Dorit is insufferable. She's taken on the role of harpy shrew, endlessly whining about the same thing. She could've ended her rants against Kyle a looooong time ago earlier this season. We. Get. It. And I'm not even a Kyle fan. RHOBH has quickly evolved into a show like RHONJ where they're all unlikable and nobody is worth rooting for (I think RHOC had a couple seasons like that too but they recovered before it got too toxic to the point of no return). They need to clean house and really strategize the course they'd like to go on, because the status quo (as they foolishly did on the most reason season of NJ) has GOT to go.
  7. I remember they did something online in the earlier days of the internet with Ricky Paull Goldin hosting. The one standout I remember is when he was interviewing Katherine Kelly Lang and she literally would not tell him her age (it came up casually since she's been on the show since day one). I thought it was funny since at that point, you could google any celebrity online and find out. There was also something in the 90's called Soap Break, I think, that would air randomly once or twice a year during a time when the afternoon soaps (ATWT, GL) were already getting preempted (basketball?). It was very casual with Kristoff St. John hanging out with any ol' CBS soap actor (usually Y&R or B&B).
  8. @Maxim Side note: I freaking LOVE "I Feel So Free." I swear, on Saturday when Madonna was all over social media in a positive light, it was like the world was finally correct again. Sigh...
  9. OMG Frickin' love it, lol
  10. Agreed, Eric Braeden would totally be against it. I'm talking about the character though. But it's all good to keep it generic, whether it's Victor Newman, Ross Marler, etc. Keep it generic so as to not offend anyone.
  11. Agreed. Also, let's be real: Victor Newman would totally be MAGA.
  12. I know I'm in the minority, but I like the upcoming cast for Potomac. My one wish is that Monique would've returned.
  13. I love it. No complaints here! I'll even take Juan's Roommate back in a friend-only capacity. With Karen back and Juan's Roommate poppin' in, I wonder if good ol' Charriisse will try and slither in un-mic'd lol. POTOMAC is currently my favorite overall, so I can't wait for them to return :)
  14. As ho-hum as the season itself, so it's fitting. Side note: I have loved Jennifer Tilly ever since I saw her in an 80's movie (that I probably shouldn't have been watching at my age) called "He's My Girl." Anyone here ever see it? It starred the late T.K. Carter. For context, my sister and I taped it and watched and re-watched it because we knew him from Punky Brewster as Punky's teacher, LOL.
  15. @Maxim I'm glad to hear you're absolutely loving Beverly Hills. I wish I could say the same, but I stand by my assertion that this is by far their worst season ever, and the show has never been more irrelevant, disappointing, and mostly pointless. Looking back at the season, one highlight is the two cracks in the foundation of cold icebox Erika. First, when she revealed her abusive relationship (although she took the limelight away from Denise in the conversation, but I digress) and then last week when she stood up to the increasingly insufferable Dorit, then broke down in tears afterwards, seemingly genuine. You know, in the last couple episodes, seeing Dorit vs. Kyle & Erika, the 3 longest veterans, while Sutton and the newbies chatter amongst themselves... I imagine we'll be seeing this same sort of dynamic when RHONJ returns with Teresa/Melissa/Dolores and a gaggle of younger newbies. Quite honestly, I was disappointed to see this cast announcement. They should've canned it like they did OG RHONY.
  16. I honestly cannot recall if I've been to the movie theater since the pandemic, but I know I will be going to see this! :)
  17. Agreed on Kyler. By the way, with all these musical chairs of romantic partners, one thing I wish they would touch upon, even if in random conversation or joking, is the age differences between everyone. You have Last Blaster Belle now showing interest in Chad, who was part of the teen crowd of like 2010 or something. Same with Phillip and Gabi. Then you have Jada shacking up with Last Blaster Shawn, but showing interest in Theo, aged up and graduated highschool in mid 2010's, I think. (I won't bother with Sarah/Brady/Kristen with all the de-aging, aging, and recasting that went on). It's not a big deal, but it's one of those soapy things where once a character graduates high school (and we see them legally getting liquor at a bar the next year...) or college, it becomes a no-man's-land of age. Hell, even the Lucas & Adrienne pairing some years back was odd.
  18. Way too many obnoxious pop-ups on that site to bother reading.
  19. Yeah, Curtis is really the last one to preach about Christian values in the home... He was obnoxious on that.
  20. Maybe they could shoehorn a Halloween themed or some other holiday standalone episode featuring Gosling, so that we don't have to wait until 2028. You just KNOW he's going to be sporting some yellow contact lenses... :)
  21. ... and shortly after Watros left GL in '98, Zimmer was out in L.A. and the two visited and laughed it up. Whatever tension there may have once been, it was short-lived.
  22. Beverly Hills has never been more boring, more uneventful, or more irrelevant. Yes, Rachel is a great addition, and I'll always love the commentary and observations from the eternally delightful Jennifer Tilly, but beyond that, it has become an old soap opera you've been devoted to for so long, but now it's become a chore to sit through one episode. Literally, hubby and I have taken 3 consecutive nights to get through one episode at least twice this season (we end up switching to something else or turning in.. we old now, haha)
  23. Man, that Part 1 was heavy. Kind of dark in comparison to other reunions. I get where Simone is coming from re: Jackie, but Simone being Simone, she's so adamant about cutting someone off. They'll patch it up. To me, Toya was the most annoying this season. Her pool party was super cringe, the way she lashed out at everyone including her hubby. Every few years, she's the obnoxious one of the group and this was her year again. Now that the whole season has played out, I have no clue why they "demoted" Heavenly.
  24. Congrats to the 4 soaps. I wonder how DAYS is doing in Peacockland these days...
