  1. Wow, Brit Eady, if that is her real name... I'm starting to think she was a fan of Nicolette Sheridan's character in Desperate Housewives. She is indeed desperate and terribly pathetic. The fact that there was no true investigation from Bravo, that Brit allegedly never saw the photos, that they pulled Kenya outta there without a blink of an eye... this all makes no sense. I'm glad to see justice for Kenya, but what the ever lovin' HELL, Bravo?? RHOC: Looks pretty good. Nothing gangbusters, but enjoyable. I'm not digging the perpetually blurred faces they're doing for everyone now. No one in Orange County has skin pores? Reminds me of General Hospital.
  2. I'm usually good at remembering all things OG RHONY, but I do not remember them changing up their taglines midway, but then again if it was a Leah season (i.e. the final two struggle-bus years), then I can understand the blurry recollection. RHOA is such a cluster of good and bad, good cast-members and sad try-hards. I had to chuckle at the series low Nielsen numbers for the return of one-note Phaedra. Indeed, it would suit Bravo and everyone involved if they had a reconciliation with Miss Nene Leakes. That'll get the eyeballs back. Britt and that sad non-event. Oy... I think I'd rather attend a Robyn Dixon event. Side Note: Are you guys watching Love Hotel? We are loving this silly nonsense! Luann's endless horniess, Ashley's endless juggle between men, Shannon being her usual basket case, and Gizelle just being a buddy to the guys while collecting her paycheck. I'm actually rooting for Gizelle to have herself a lil fun (ain't nothing holding The Countess or lil Miss Darby back from having a good time) but she's mainly standoffish from getting close to anyone. Also, did we discuss the whispers about Dolores from RHONJ potentially being a part of the new Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast as a friend-of? (If we did, my apologies, I'm getting old, haha). She apparently has real-life connections to some of the cast and has a home there? I'm down for that. She's the only RHONJ cast member I'd like to salvage from the wreck.
  3. Yowzers! I'm only on episode 17 right now - LOL - you paint a dreadful picture of this show. Just popped into this thread page and I gotta wonder... is all of it bad or just certain storylines?
  4. I didn't find Sunday's RHOA to be boring. It was more lowkey and slice of life which is what Housewives used to be in their early years. However, if their individual lives are boring, well, then you have a boring episode, lol. Lots of Angela but I wasn't bored. I don't think Britt and her nose were featured at all. I see both sides of Shamea vs. Porsha but I'm more Team Shamea. I loved how half their conversation was a total 4th wall breaker, discussing how the show, Porsha on-camera vs. off-camera, and Shamea's peach-holding status has affected their relationship. Side note: Wow, they actually let Cynthia utter the name Nene in her confessional. Also, I don't know what's going on in Cynthia's personal life, but they really should've just upped her to peach status. She's the real heart of this group.
  5. If DAYS didn't write Philip Kiriakis as such a wishy-washy loser in love, he'd fit that role as a great recast and turn the character into more of a leading man than a wuss.
  6. Queens. I miss the good ol' days of Housewives who were on these shows to have fun, not because they need a wannabe lifestyle funded. Camille is RICH and stirs [!@#$%^&*] up for kicks 'n giggles. Her dig against Dorit just recently. Epic.
  7. I swear, sometimes I think Britt's boobs must be in pain. They look so forced in those tops. One of Porsha's tops also has her boobies practically pointing in opposite directions. I don't have boobs but some of these garbs look so uncomfortable. And yes, we must be about an eighth of an inch away from seeing areola.
  8. Gosh, I felt and said the same thing watching last night. She gave genuinely fun and funny moments ("somebody come and fold me back up, cuz I am OPEN"). It felt like the good-time old-school RHOA with her moments, and her and Porsha on the bed.
  9. I still think the reason why Kenya was fired was because the big shocking reveal was done outside the parameters of Housewives. If it had been done in a self-contained environment, a Dinner Party from Hell: Part 867 type of situation, they could've handled it with their own editing and behind the scenes scolding. I mean, didn't SLC's Mary call Lisa's son retarded or something? Yet we never saw the light of day on that and it didn't ever get a mention.
  10. Oh fun! I'm glad to you got to see her in action. She puts on a fun, boozy show. We've seen her twice and I was able to ask her a question during the audience Q&A session. I love how she can make fun of herself and just be carefree. I agree about the lemon brunch, and it really showed how this is a completely different cast from the previous season (sorry, I always forget Drew's been there a few years; she's just so... irrelevant). If this is their ultimate goal, they've handled the hand-off much better than the total reboot debacle that was RHONY. Agreed on BH too; this can easily be fixed. They have plenty of former housewives they could bring back and/or bring on fresh faces. They can go on forever like OC if they handle it correctly and let go of their dead weight.
  11. So, so true. She was the Greek chorus calling out the clownery.
  12. I felt so bad for her. Man, you could tell even before Part 3 that she knew she was DONE with this mess of a show after that day. My hubby was cussing Dorit out left and right. Meanwhile, you had Good-Bi Kyle all but coming out, yet correcting Andy when he tried to relate, saying he remembered how it was when he came out "Oh, I didn't say I came out" Good-Bi Kyle responded. I'm all about people coming to terms with their sexuality on their own, but the double-talk and innuendos were obnoxious. I do *love* Jennifer Tilly, but I get what you guys are saying about her getting dragged down into the mud if she were to return next season. I'd rather see her go back to acting and do something silly and fun with Jennifer Coolidge or something. Overall, Part 3 felt icky, but I loved hearing Garcelle's words at the end in her dressing room (was that a motel they were all getting glammed up at?). She's right about all of them. Damn. After Lisa Vanderpump, she was my favorite. I would've much rather we had Garcelle stay, Vanderpump return, and the 3 remaining coven members take a hike. ... Oh, and STFU about Terri, who STILL takes time to makes digs against people like Garcelle for not reaching out to her during her cancer treatments. Y'all aren't friends! I wouldn't reach out either. Meanwhile, Dorit's dumbass who supposedly is friends with Terri said she'll reach out after the storm has settled on Terri's recovery. Any good friend knows they need support during the hellish time. Ugh. End of rant
  13. These housewives really need to lay off the face filters. LOL. Adrienne looks like one of her son’s girlfriends 😆
  14. Which is weird since the entire full-time cast (minus Porsha) was at last night's outdoor dinner gathering. That's your cast. If you're not gelling with any of them, "Why are you even here?" (© Mariah Huq) Ha, I am finding this current ATL season both interesting and also quite disjointed, with all the newbies and part-time vets. Granted, the Kenya mess threw a wrench in everything, but something is just off. Some of it comes from Porsha's life and what she chooses to show to fit her own narrative. I also find Drew to be, just, there. She doesn't seem to be bonding with any of the new girls, and at last night's dinner they were all New + Drew. They all had their own stuff and alliances while Drew just sat there in her pink dress that looked more suitable for a 9 year old.
  15. Britani on SLC is the right kind of delusional crazy to make one good interesting season as long as she's not so far out of the realm of reality like a Danielle Staub. But otherwise, sure, give her one season and see.
  16. I like how we got a semi-OG's Only Girls Trip with RHONY. I'd love to see them go that route again, reuniting the 1st season OG's (or from the first 1-3 seasons when all the shows got hot). I'd vote for Beverly Hills first because there's no way it would ever happen for New Jersey.
  17. Overall, I'm Team Kenya on this. I do think she absolutely chose the wrong time and place to do this "outing" of Britt. At her own event with non-Housewives people there? No sis, bad move for your own sake. But otherwise, I thought she got a raw deal. On this season's first episode, I thought Kelli was doing too much right off the bat, but now I find her to be the only newbie I actually like. No to Britt and I'm not feeling Angela either. They made a great decision elevating Shamea and I loved how she squashed the beef with Angela immediately by apologizing for belittling her physical looks. Wise move on her part. I hope we see more of Cynthia without Kenya. They seemed to have mended fences after the whole Girls Trip estrangement. Speaking of which, do y'all think Girls Trips are officially done after the Brandi / Caroline fiasco that'll never see the light of day?
  18. That was my thought, too. Let it cool down and she'll be back with her peach next year.
  19. Agreed. I watched and I'm thinking, damn this is how Kenya is going to be written out? Seems a bit unfair but I don't know all the details of the lengths Kenya goes to next week.
  20. I still LOL at them trying to pass him off as 40-something... That said, I hope they bring Stacey back for her proper dragging.
  21. Ooof -- well stated!
  22. Exactly. Yeah, I thought overall the season started strong with the PK/Dorit and Kyle/Mo real life dramas, but it petered out at the end with the endless Dorit vs. Sutton feud. I'm ready for the reunion. I'm sad to hear about Garcelle though. She was always a breath of fresh air that kept it real. Are we thinking they'll shake up the RHOBH cast next season? EDIT: Oh boy, I haven't seen the finale yet. Sounds bad. Also wanted to add in my +1 on Jennifer Tilley. I have loved her personality since way back in the 80's when she was in this silly movie called "He's My Girl."
  23. RHOBH Reunion: You know what, I think they all look nice. After seeing some of the outrageousness over at M2M, do we really need to see dresses that look like costumes? I'm good. Sometimes, we have women with crazy funky dresses where objects are literally obstructing their view or at risk of poking an eye out. Enough of that already. JMO.
  24. Sweet Tea' childish outbursts were giving me Jacqueline Laurita vibes at her very worst during multiple RHONJ reunions. To see Toya seemingly the most pissed at her (the one OG that had her back) and openly admitting she doesn't like the seating arrangement, I'm thinking Sweet Tea is done after this. Oh darn. Also, I had to laugh at Phrogdra's descripton of the women as "funny looking and fat." Chiiiiild get a mirror.
  25. Nailed it. lol LOL you can hold a candle for Drop It With... and we'll still light a torch for the Grande Dame
