Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Meh... Drew is kinda like Potomac's Wendy where I want to like her, but there's something off. Actually I think Drew ranks worse. Not only does she have a cringey wannabe personality, but her fake one-season business ventures have been so poorly done. The "drop it with Drew" mention on Sunday was a cute nod but also an example of one of her sloppily thrown together business storylines that never had any legs to begin with. It's pretty crazy that with this massive cast overhaul, she was the only one left standing. It's like RHONY Season 4 wiping out everyone but keeping Cindy Barshop.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, last night, I thought "y'all just need to move on from this" when it came to Dorit vs. Sutton, and then Erika chiming in with her "what about meeee?" bit. Is the season finale soon?

DAYS/Y&R: Casting Shocker!!
While that's alarming to hear, I hope they cut the correct dead weight. Meanwhile, I wonder if they'd ever bring DAYS back to NBC. That was my initial thought too. He was the nice DiMera that fit in well with the Hortons (practically Julie's BFF). Everyone else in the house of DiMera are carbon copies.

Married to Medicine
This season flew by! I'll be interested to see how the reunion goes and see who will be back next year. By and large, Contessa was back full-time, just didn't have the official title. She could've taken Phaedra's place in the opening and Phaedra could've been billed as a friend. Just because she was on one season of The Traitors doing her usual schtick, Bravo thinks she's such a big draw. She's not. M2M was banging along just fine without her. End of mini rant.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
... And in all honesty, I was only interested in seeing the OG's. Much like that awful, disrespectful Melrose Place reboot of 2009; I only cared about the original cast, not the next generation. Hopefully this next generation of RHOA will keep me interested. Kelli is already doing too much. I am reminded of my first impression of Brynn on the first eppy of NuRHONY.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
So, I got this weird flashback when I watched the scene on RHOA when "friend of" Cynthia and about-to-be-booted Kenya were talking on a bench in a lil corner. [Side note: Ooh, Cynthia, that dress was the wrong choice] Remember when The CW did the 90210 reboot and you had all the young newbies as the new heart of the show while the OG's from the original (Brenda, Kelly etc.) were there for the first season and then completely phased out? That's the vibe I got. This is basically a reboot with the familiar face of Porsha as the last sole survivor. Yeah, Drew is there, but she's not from the golden era of RHOA. That said, Shamea (and her WEALTH!) did surprise me and so I'll eat my own words on my earlier comments about her. She definitely felt like the anchor of this new era of the ATL, with Porsha coming back as the resident pot-stirrer (a friendly version of OC's Tamra). I have not dove into the mess that is whatever's going on with Tamra quitting, but I did see a pic of her, Gretchen, and Shannon crossing the street and holy moly it was not a good angle... This:

Melrose Place
On today's, they changed up their format by doing an overall recap right off the bat, and then discussed it (more randomly, instead of in order of events) after.

Melrose Place
LOL, they can skip recapping Seasons 6 and 7 IMO.

100% on all. And yes, this was a very satisfying and entertaining 3-parter reunion, especially 2 & 3. I vote more of Jassi next year as a friend and less or none of Jacqueline. Other than letting us know she's got her own Who's the Daddy? baby storyline that literally no one is interested in, she did nothing for the reunion and barely rallied for her own BFF Mia.

Oh gosh, I dunno. I almost wanna say we should forge ahead with the cast we currently have. The only former Potomac HW I'd want to really ruffle Gizelle's feathers is Monique.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yeah, that 3rd part was something else. Very laid back with how they carried on, with Eddie and the phone. It was fun, and yes, it went well. I think all 5 will be asked back. Even if Ashley is on thin ice when it comes to storyline, she's a familiar face who's been there since day one. It's her and Gizelle as the OG's that remain. She'll be back. I think Stacey and Keiarna will be asked back, too. I think Stacey is dumb enough to think she can redeem herself. And as much as we all say Wendy is just there, I gotta admit she had a GREAT reunion. If she can finally find a sweet spot of being an alpha of the group that people actually care about, there might be hope for her. I mean, I know it took me years to finally warm up to Porsha on ATL.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Oh damn! Harsh. I hope this sets her mind right. When I heard this was DUI #4, I knew she'd have to do time. Teresa, Jenn, now the Grande Dame. Not an exclusive club I'd want to be a member of. I do think they could easily do a season without her. They've set themselves up nicely, as we've seen at the reunion. Castmembers who might've been on the chopping block are now pretty much guaranteed at least one more year. However, their new center star of last year with a face surface like the moon completely fizzled and I could see her bouncing out of sheer humiliation and viewer backlash. (Although, a check's a check, so...)

Yeah, that was another great reunion episode; they've really ended this season strong and are setting themselves up nicely for next season. Jeezus, Karen has had FOUR DUI's? Chilllld... does she secretly live in the DUI capitol of the world (i.e. Wisconsin) where multiple DUI's run rampant?

If DAYS's Brandon Beemer and Martha Madison can play parents of a 30-year-old, I can go along with the ride of Karla Mosley's character being married for 30 years. I loved the special and the additional previews that've been airing. For a cast of 40 characters, they had mostly focused on the core main family up until recently. Looks good!!

Oh wow! A no-show! Wuss... We never needed her anyway.

The Politics Thread
Yes. It was and still is infuriating to hear people (family members) saying that old phrase of, "I didn't want to see another politician in the White House," re: the 2016 election, as if the position of POTUS is an electrician, plumber, pre-school teacher, etc. and not the ultimate political leader.

If they're going to do cameos and special guest stars, I'ma need them to step it up above entertainment news show hosts that are already on the CBS Daytime payroll (be it syndicated or whatnot). Hell, the Grande Dame Karen Huger from Real Housewives of Potomac will create bigger buzz. ET hosts and Sheryl give literally zero incentive for a curious viewer. Come through Vivica!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Great write-up, and I have to cosign on Whitney coming out as the bigger person. Lisa has such tunnel vision, can't shut her yapper, and has very little genuine sympathy or empathy for anyone else. Crazy how a good season can turn one's opinion around for the time being. For instance, I thought this was mostly a great season for Potomac's Gizelle. She's lucky Candiace opted to leave the show, and perhaps she's best on her own without her sidekick. Instead, she has to learn to buddy up with others.

Melrose Place
I think we're at a good moment finally, in terms of which episodes they're covering. Once Heather joins, the Alison/Billy/Amanda storyline goes full steam ahead. Episode 22 through the end is when the pace ramps up and the tension builds and it becomes a full-fledged continuing soapy drama. It's nice to know that in hindsight, Grant wishes he hadn't taken himself so seriously. Thomas seems to be the one that isn't into the whole nostalgic, walk-down-memory-lane kinda guy.

RHOP: In what should be a surprise to almost nobody, word on the street is Stacey was paying TJ to play the role of her boyfriend, and he doesn’t show up to the reunion because she was two payments (2 months) behind on paying him.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Agreed, that was a great ending. MVP to Mary because her reactions always have me in giggles. And I can't believe I'm finally coming around, but I was actually okay with Angie. Her seemingly genuine friendship with Mary, while finally not smirking and posing for the camera, is making me warm to her. In terms of Little Girl Whitney vs. Lisa and/or Meredith, I'm actually on Little Girl's side for the most part. As mentioned, Lisa can trash talk other people and their marriage but it's a boiling hot scandal if they do the same to her.

"How can she be planning a baby shower when she's busy getting her back blown out 15 times a week." LOL, dead.
