Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
OC: I love how Lizzie looks at all this as an observant outsider, but you know she's eventually going to speak her mind and point out what nobody else voices or are too foolish not to see. I look forward to that bombshell. Heather keeps trying to downplay the fact that she was a chatty-Kathy gossip, talking about Shannon's marriage to a bunch of people who are not involved. Not cool. Someone needs to stress that part to her and point out how tactless and wrong that was. But she's good with arguments, while Shannon is not. BH: Wow, I'll be really surprised if Eileen Davidson actually joined as a regular friend or an actual Housewife! I would think she would just pop up once or twice at one of Rinna's parties or whatnot. By the time this airs, Eileen will be back at Y&R full time. This would benefit CBS's Y&R, not NBC's DAYS (which is under the same umbrella as Bravo).

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Ooh, Kim's moving to Sundays? Yeah, that'll definitely help her, although it sounds like she was doing okay on her own. I'm just glad it's only a half-hour show. An hour would kill it. Eric, as a fellow ratings junkie, I appreciate your postings It saves me the trouble of going over to TVByTheNumbers.com. A 1.5 for NYC? Sigh, I'll take it, considering they had those lows around 1 million. I haven't been following too closely on other sites, so is it usual for Jill Zarin to still be a representative of the New York Housewives? Or do you guys think something's in the works and Bravo is working on getting some of the original ladies back?

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
What a crazy wackadoodledoo finale! That was the most bizarre party I have ever seen on one of these shows! Firstly, props to LuAnn for pointing out all the so-called pink elephants in the room (which was the majority of Sonja's guests). That was certainly an eclectic group of people who you wouldn't expect to see party together. The Sonja/harry/LuAnn stuff was good but I'm not surprised about the rumors regarding the Sonja/Harry stuff being faked for the cameras. It didn't seem genuine. Despite this crazy ass party, I almost wish they had done their usual fancy editing and made last week's party (Carole's birthday) the finale because they were all at a better place. It just seemed like your usual Housewives wrapup function. Agreed. The reactions to Aviva's leg tossing are what made the scene! LuAnn crying from laughter, Ramona yelling "oh shyt!" and trying to dart from the table, Carole totally done with her loony tunes antics, Heather getting Aviva riled up. I also thought the gaggle of misfits watching the crazy unfold and their laughter made it equally hilarious. It was just a weird over-the-top event that definitely bordered on parody, as someone else mentioned. If Heather, Ramona, and Luann's appearance on WWHL are any indication, the reunion is going to be FUN! I love how Ramona and LuAnn always rip on each other, but at the end of the day they like each other. They're the OG's of NYC and they gotta hold down this fort! P.S. Their lil write-ups at the very end were novels! And they disappeared way too quickly from screen, you had to freeze it just to get a chance to read it all.

Miami is Passions and NYC was in the middle of the pack but now at GL level. Please do not have a girls trip to Peapack next year! I'm surprised the NYC reunion is 3 parts but it sure looks hilarious! LuAnn on the couch where she should be, Ramona pissed about her relationship with Mario, Luann's karma line, Aviva's holla line... This all looks like a wonderful hot mess and I'm guessing they were encouraged to go balls to the wall to have this season go out on top (in the Nielsens).

1.6 ouch! They're now in the same league as OC and BH. I can only say that maybe it's because it's the summer, but really, it's just an excuse. I'm not surprised in the drop but didn't think it'd drop that low that fast.

I'm hoping they'll keep the 5 OC ladies they've got and add one more. I think this crop of ladies is just getting warmed up Yeah, I'm feeling kinda "meh..." about NJ. I'm not interested in the twins or their family (I couldn't tell you which one is divorced and which one is married). Meanwhile, the impending doom for NJ's OG, Teresa, can only be featured so much before it becomes one big endless buzzkill. Oh, and Melissa is still there too. Yay.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Oh yes, it's painfully bad and yet funny. Anything with Wyatt or Jim & David are always the worst. Jim: Really... [pause. Cut to David.] David: Yes. [pause. Cut to Jim] Jim: are you sure? [pause. Cut to David] David: Yes! [pause. Cut to Jim] Jim scoffs. Sadly, I do want to see where it's all headed. But geez Louise, if I could be the editor and chop out the long pauses and establishing shots, and we'd have a bad Bold & Beautiful instead of a bad Young & Restless.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
SFK, I've thought the same thing. These deliberate, long drawn out scenes could easily be tightened. The long establishing shots of someone entering a room, or driving away from a building, could easily be trimmed or cut altogether. This could be a half-hour soap and we'd still get everything we need to get out of it. And is it just me, or does this show have this uncanny ability at making real-life buildings look fake?? The outside of the Cryer mansion, Hannah's house, the political campaign headquarters... I swear, you'd think those were all made of styrofoam. It's so strange. They ARE real buildings, right?

He really is. I can't deny when he was having that staring contest conversation with his ma and pa, I was getting lost in his eyes, haha

Don't you mean Hannah's God? It was HER God that brought Benny back to us!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Can't imagine they would. Unless something super epic happens we haven't seen and she's a part of it. Otherwise, they've made her a non factor like BH's Marissa (was that her name?) and NYC's Jennifer Gilbert. Yes, Nene was the surprise guest. And she was in a good mood.

I love the way Bootleg Sally makes her whole snout quiver to convey anger.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That was such a dumb reaction. Carole made a tiny joke, and Kristen is acting like she dropped a major bombshell. I see Kristen and Josh's problems like I see Heather & Terry Dubrow's last year: a storyline for camera time. I don't buy it. I seriously want to punch people like Kristen who complain because her husband is busy at work. Bitch, that's how you can live the life you live!! She's not a smart self-made millionaire (Ramona), nor did she marry into old money (LuAnn, Sonja). Kristen's hubby is up & coming, working hard to make a living and grow a business. Not to sound sexist, but it's wives like this that make me wanna say, "Just shut up and raise your damn kids." Thank God she's a one-season wonder. I loved LuAnn breaking down and showing true vulnerability. Why she's not holding an apple is beyond me, other than for Bravo to save coins by downgrading her. It was nice that they recapped her relationship with Jacques. Ramona crying over Avery leaving, aw... It's like watching a robot short-circuiting. Overall, last night's episode was one of the best of the whole season. I really liked the ladies' interaction at Carole's birthday party. The ending with LuAnn leaving with Harry was TOTAL Bravo editing magic and I loved every manufactured moment of it.

Rewatch the first episode of Season 3 (her premiere). She was so far up Kim G's butt she could tell us which flavored Ensure shake Kim G had for lunch. Her and Wench had such thirsty looks on their face at the Posche fashion show.

Yes, WHAT is that about? Has he reverted to a 10 year old as a result of his accident?

...and now, with brand new eyes! She's taken a page out of Miss Dubrow's book of beauty secrets by getting brand new eye sockets.

I am LOVING the idea of Lisa Rinna on RHOBH!!! LOVING IT!!!!! I cannot wait for her silly butt to do her thang! You are so right, it writes itself. I love it. It *is* strange, having 2 Lisas (just as NJ will have two Teresas), but what can ya do? "Lisa V" and "Lisa R" like the Kim's on Jersey?

The View
And on a separate note, it's being reported that Rosie O'Donnell is in negotiations to return to The View. I'm mixed on this. I have always loved Rosie, even when public opinion was (and is) mostly negative of her. But I'm not sure how this will work. On one hand, I think she works best alone. When she was back last month for Barbara's farewell, you could always tell that Rosie was just waiting for her chance to talk. She's not even listening to anyone else, because she's already thought in her head what she's going to say next. I like her opinions, but I don't know if there's a large audience out there for her anymore. If it were still 2002 and she was still playing up the "Queen of Nice" thing she had going on during her 1996-2002 talk show run, then I'd say, YES! But after everything that happened in the past 12 years, I don't think people care about her opinions. Sadly, it's the same thing that happened with Roseanne Barr. She is smart and has intelligent ideas, but her delivery and her interaction with other people have soured people's opinion of her. Perhaps she would do well with Whoopie and a couple other women who are intelligent (i.e. not Sherri) and not a nails-on-a-chalkboard harpie (i.e. Elizabitch). It's crazy how The Talk is actually a better show now. I always felt like they threw together a bunch of random misfits, but oddly enough, it works!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Sheree is always a hater. Still, it was nice to see that she cleaned herself up and got out of whatever car she's living in to attend the wedding. Overall, I thought the 90 minute finale was enjoyable, with nary a dull moment. I feel like we saw this venue set-up before, with the decorations and design of the room the same as NeNe's, but I could be remembering wrong. Is that a Bravo thing, where the person getting married is in the center of the room with everyone all around them? And there's long white sheets draped everywhere? I wonder what Bethenny's looked like.

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
Yes that was a GREAT ending. The kind of camp that makes this dreck worth watching. I thought Gavin Houston did well throughout the episode. He doesn't get enough credit (they never gave him anything to do on GL, probably because his eyes only twinkled when Marty West's Shayne was around).

Tyler Perry's 'Haves and Have Nots' on OWN
It was weird how there was actual movement in the final 10 minutes of story. I liked how they cut to the chase with Amanda and Jim barging in and telling her to move home. That thug dude. I have no words. First, with Amanda, then with Veronica. I mean...

I don't think NYC's Heather has has work done. For starters, I would think the first thing she would attack is the nose. She just doesn't have a glamorous look to her. She's like Ellen in that she looks better in pants than a dress (not implying she's gay, just sportier/butch). Note, I had to specify NYC's Heather because OC's Heather clearly has. It's like she has new eye sockets.

Ratings from the 70's
It's interesting how the numbers could fluctuate up through the late 70's, not just as No. 1, but all throughout the rankings. Thanks for posting
