  1. I think we're at the point where the majority have been around so long, that all their history is has been hashed and now they're just castmembers who have to interact, but there's nothing to really learn about each other and grow from. The introductions of the new ladies, from what we see, have been weak. Since they flip-flopped on Claudia and Demetria, it feels imbalanced that we're suddenly supposed to care about this brand new girl's man drama when we were never properly introduced to her and she's only there because she's a would-be castmate, not a genuine tagalong friend of somebody.
  2. Just watched this. Man, they SO should've included that on the show! Loved it! Love that Lisa R....
  3. Well said, Cheap! P.S. I love that signature photo of Myrna! Girlfriend has come a long way!
  4. For real. *She* is a natural outcast, Bravo editing be damned. It has nothing to do with the amount of money in her bank account and everything to do with her low-class gutter trash box mouth and social awkwardness. It's coming forward once again [her being an outsider], only this time I think she's gone too far and all her remaining allies will jump ship. I loved Eileen coming right out and saying, "we were just talking about you" when Brandi stepped in. Lisa and Eileen buddying up is adorable, and Lisa saying, "if that isn't just white trash, I don't know what is" when Brandi made the finger-banging comment in front of Babyface was priceless. Eileen & Lisa R continue to entertain and delight! Yolanda. For the love of God. Give. It. Up. You're not friends, foes, Hollywood friends, bosom buddies... You're castmates. Lisa V has to put up with your Dutch ass and your auto-reply comments only when the cameras roll.
  5. Fantastic! Thanks for posting. Eloquently written, and so, so true.
  6. Yolanda is indeed a hypocrite with this "Are we real friends or Hollywood friends?" line, when she herself has pulled the same fakery crap with Brandi. On one hand, she acts like Brandi's her sidekick, and next she goes on WWHL and admits that she and Brandi only hang out when they're filming. Even Brandi was taken aback by that comment, as she sloppily declared on Twitter. I loved Bravo's Throwback Thursday, with the first episodes of all the Housewives franchises. I missed OC and BH, but I saw NYC, NJ, and ATL. I loved how back in the day, they'd do the little chyrons, indicating the average cost of whatever it is they're buying at the time (jewelry, dresses, weekly cost of a personal driver, etc.). I particularly loved the opulence, glamour, and true "New York feeling" of NYC's first episode, showcasing the city in a way that non-New Yorkers (like myself) always envision it.
  7. No, what does it say? I'm glad to see Eileen getting integrated with the rest of the cast, along with Lisa R. Now, of course we know Lisa R knows the dirt already (she watches the show, she's been friends with Kyle for years), but she hasn't seen it play out firsthand, so I'll go along with her inquisitiveness. Eileen doesn't pussyfoot around with these broads, and I love it. She has that frank honesty that is going to drive Brandi bonkers. I'm hoping a Lisa/Eileen/Lisa triumvirate will form, leaving the former Princess and Duchess iced out and regretting last season's foolish attempt at dethroning the queen. YoLemony was winning me back, but now that we're back to the group scenes, her pathetic whining about "Real friends vs. Hollywood friends" is dull, trite, and obnoxious. Find a new angle, Lemon Pledge. Brandi... there's just no point to this. Lisa said it best in the previous episode: "I'm still the same horrible person I was last year, so why do you suddenly want to be my friend again?" That just sums it all up right there. Can we have more visits from Adrienne, Taylor and Camille? Now that everything is water under the bridge, I like seeing Adrienne again.
  8. Meanwhile, if someone told me Phaedra's mother was Eddie Murphy in one of his Klump costumes, I'd 100% believe it
  9. Another thing that works for them, versus previous newbies, is that they're NOT "newbies", in the sense that so many viewers already know one or both of them. They're "brand" is their body of work. And soap opera work for 20-30 years is way more impressive than direct-to-VHS movies or beauty pageant winnings. Great BH episode. I, too, am the quiet observer initially. You tend to learn more gossipy things right off the bat and then you have leverage because you're not all exposed like the other people.
  10. I think on a personal level, Andy loves Carole most. But in terms of the show, it's Ramona (well, now with Bethenny returning, she resumes the crown actually).
  11. Ramona's pissed, so that means she's here to stay! The show needs buzz and drama. If Ramona is flipping her [!@#$%^&*] over this new lady, you can bet they'll keep her around. Ramona, Sonja, LuAnn, Bethenny, Carole, Heather, Kristen, & New Girl. Eight ladies, though? They'll probably just keep her as a friend unless they downgrade someone else. (Kristen!) I would love to see the day they pulled a Heather Locklear/Melrose Place maneuver with the opening, and have someone be a permanent Special Guest Star. They could do that with Bethenny
  12. Another old white lady? What were the odds! Ironically, I've heard from non-soap fans that they view Eileen as "some older lady," and have thought of the newbies (Eileen, Lips) as "kooky women."
  13. Um. I'm assuming that's the real NeNe. But if you tell me it's a drag queen, I will believe you 100%. I echo what y'all have said about BH's slow build-up. It was necessary and it's refreshing. Granted, I'm ready for some Dinner Parties From Hell, but we can't have those every week, so a nice build-up to the main events is welcome. Lisa & Lisa... keep it coming! Their sexy banter is loads more funny than anything Brandi has spewed out. Oh, was she on last night's episode? Bravo is smart in showing Brandi minimally after we OD'ed on her in the first 3 episodes. I agree that Kim is more bearable as the mother of the bride, with sister Kathy supporting her and overshadowing Kyle as the mothering type. Yolemony's lemon-scented arm. LOL Too funny. She's winning me back, though. Let's see how she does in group settings again... Looking forward to the group interaction next week, with Eileen introduced to the ladies, and Lisa V giving Brandi more icing on the cake!
  14. Another refreshingly delightful episode of Beverly Hills. It was Kyle and Yolanda heavy, but that's just fine with me. Yolanda has redeemed herself in my eyes from last year's debacle. I do, however, expect a one-on-one sit-down with her and Lisa V in the future for a full, formal clearing of the air. Light on Brandi and Kim. Good. I'm liking the Lisa & Lisa camaraderie. It's a tad bit mushy-gushy for the sake of the cameras, but hopefully something genuine will build and we'll see that. Cute interaction with Eileen and her family. She has a beautiful backyard. Looking forward to seeing more of her home. I'm wondering if she's going to be like OC's Lizzie, where she was brought in late and therefore not involved in a lot of interaction with the ladies until the end. I hope not. WWHL with Brandi and Sandra was funny because Sandra was on fire. At least we finally know why half her face [brandi] was frozen stiff last season. WWHL with Kim & NeNe... I think they genuinely like each other. It didn't seem forced to me. I think what did their friendship a favor was the fact that one of them is no longer on the show. Are they BFF's like they were pre-Housewives? Of course not! Both their lives have changed immensely. But they're certainly on much better terms than either of them with Sheree, who's a total non-factor.
  15. Amen to that! Her attitude is total stank. Her misguided confidence and flimsy insults make her look real ugly. And with that annoying voice? Double the ugliness coming out of her mouth. Glad that Bravo (and us viewers!) got the last laugh.
  16. I'll be watching Celebrity Apprentice! Although I didn't watch the year Joan Rivers (RIP, Dearest Joan!) won, nothing beats the year NeNe was on with Starr and LaToya. This current crop that's coming on looks pretty ratchet which could be fun!
  17. You're not the only one. I was feeling under the weather a few days ago and spent the afternoon watching episodes from the first half of season one. I made it a point to focus on Sandy-related episodes, haha. The one where she is stalked by Fisher from Roseanne is hilarious.
  18. I sure hope so. This needs to be her final year. There's no building this woman back up. She is her own worst enemy, and not even the "friends of" special guest stars (except Camille) like her. It'd be like bringing Danielle Staub back for season 3 of Jersey. Yeah sure, NOW she'd be a welcome return. But at the time, it just couldn't be done. The only difference between Brandi and Jill Zarin is that Zarin was toxic behind the scenes as well. Unless it's been reported otherwise, the people at Bravo seem to love her. RHOBH: I'm liking the chill, relaxed episodes as friendships get repaired, reputations try to be rebuilt, and new ladies are brought into the action. YoLemony with her daughters is what redeems her. I, too, caught that vibe with the Richards sisters that Kim & Kathy are closer, and Kyle is the odd woman out. I like that. Hahaha. Her blunt honesty was delicious. Kathy needs more special guest star appearances. Isn't she the mother of someone who used to be famous? Lips Rinna continues to entertain me. Her no-f*cks attitude about being truly open & honest about herself is fun & refreshing. She's my kinda chick. She's not for everyone, but she's my everything. I hope Lisa & Lisa form a genuine bond. I expect a full and proper introduction for Eileen next week. I lobster-loved their soap discussion and the DAYS '94 flashback! The conversation was edited, but Lips indicated that her only good run was her original ('92-'95) whereas the other appearances were bombs. I would've liked to hear more of what they said, but to the non-soap fans, it wouldn't been a bore I guess.
  19. I agree. It has to stop. Please go back to season 2, 3, or 4 hairdo's and makeup. This tranny clown sh!t on NeNe has to stop.
  20. I remember the advertisements for it. "Darling! I thought you were dead!" which they spoofed in the 2006 reunion special. Wow, I'd love to go to the autograph show. Pamela Sue Martin! Sigh... I wish she had stayed on television.
  21. I'm gonna have to go with Cynthia on that incident with Porsha. Porsha has all this misplaced confidence, like she's Bethenny freakin' Frankel with a brain full of clever anecdotes and one-liners. No. Just no. Knowing she has all this false confidence, only to be demoted by Bravo makes it all the more delicious. Yeah, Cynthia struggled on a few words, but overall I get her stance and understand her opinion on Porsha vs. Kenya at the reunion. For me, Cynthia didn't become a valuable player til about season 5 when she had that awkward lunch date with Froggie (the one where Cynthia had a recording of Froggie dogging Cynthia about coming to her party, and Froggie made those lame jokes about all her chocolate and whatnot). Cynthia sans NeNe will be quite interesting. I think she'll do just fine. Exactly. P.S. All that screeching that Porsha does when she's yelling makes me literally wish that Shangela was playing the role of Porsha permanently.
  22. If only... Yes, out with the old and in with the originals (and two soap stars!)
  23. ...And when all else fails, just call them a dizzy cow. Love that.
