  1. Also, perhaps Meredith Post? Susan Bedsow-Horgan?
  2. Someone on Twitter used the flight plan (which every licensed pilot is supposed to file) to track the private plane to a stop in Copenhagen, then to Luton, which I think is in England. Someone else surmised that the quarantine should technically have ended, so Querrey may be heading back to the U.S. Querrey should still face a penalty for his breach of protocols, even if it is Russia, not known for respecting rules itself.
  3. The more I read about how P&G operated, their machinations, the more I begin to understand why Phillips may have been the way she was. She, not had quite a few character flaws but knowing how the industry treats women today, could you imagine how bad it must have been back then? There must have been many bitter pills to swallow.
  4. That would be awesome but not with the writers from the last 12 years though.
  5. I was left with the impression that every character on the canvas was represented on the final episode. The script itself is pretty bad but that's great that the actors could still find a way to entertain. They are pros so I would expect nothing less.
  6. Sounds like he's employing 2018 tactics in deploying Farage.
  7. I've had it with the ATP this year. So much awful off-court news this season. Players really showing who they are.
  8. Yikes, that's too bad. I had a feeling it would be him. Still, that sucks.
  9. These polls are something else entirely. Best to take all of them with a grain of salt.
  10. These numbers are outrageously alarming.
  11. It is a great pic, isn't it? I'd love for someone to ask her about her recollections of this production. That photo is smoldering. Bumping this onto the next page so people can see what we are talking about.
  12. Those stranded rally attendees are the perfect metaphor (and perhaps a growing sign of what's to come?) for the relationship between Trump and his cult followers.
  13. Has anyone seen this photo of Kathleen Windows and Raul Julia from As You Like It? I was reading about NYC theatrical performances and came across it. In the past I've gotten the chance to see archived performances of Joseph Papp's Shakespeare productions and I'm hoping that I will get the opportunity to see an archived copy of this particular production.
  14. Interesting how quick the cuts are between scenes in that episode. Those were some skilled editors. Having edited film and video on analog equipment, I can say that, unless you really know what you're doing, it can be an arduous task and a slow-going one. And at the rate these scenes were shot, edits had to be done at a pretty brisk pace. Today's soaps don't even do this and they have the advantage of using digital equipment, far easier to maneuver.
  15. Or it could be contouring with makeup. Also baby fat, in terms of the cheeks. FWIW, it looks like the chin is the same.
  16. That post is Gold, @vetsoapfan! 🤣 As someone whose posts have allegedly induced fits of hysteria and page-long diatribes (as well as endless inane interrogations), I can relate. The use of 'The' Guiding Light never bothered me in the least since it was once the official name of the show. I can only imagine how Dunkin Donuts or Oil Of Olay must enrage this person.🤣 Hopefully, you will do what I would do and ignore and continue to post. Cheers.
  17. Was France one of the countries that didn't want Turkey to join the EU years ago, or no? Every single time I look at him from the very beginning that's all I see.
  18. Kushner has always given me sociopathic vibes. Picture a waxy faced, lifeless, simp-ish version of "American Psycho" without a hint of charisma or personality.
  19. During the livestream, it struck me that Irizarry seems like one of the few actors to emerge from the TOLN soaps, AMC 2.0 experience not embittered by how things turned out. In fact, he seemed open to the possibility of another reboot. He seemed sanguine about the way the PP ended but was candid about being open to another try. He seems to be getting steady work, so I don't think that this was desperation.
  20. Norah O'Donnell doesn't surprise me in the least. I don't watch the CBS Evening News but saw her when she was on CBS This Morning and she practically telegraphed it. Needless to say, I looked forward to seeing a Nora-free CBS This Morning.
  21. Of course, 'Juicy Janet' will be there. No offense to Pins on but that's a hard pass for me.
  22. Black men voting has become a recent topic of conversation but seems to entirely ignore the recent group of former felons who have fought to register to vote after having fought to have their right to vote restored. I would be interested to know how their votes figure into things.
  23. On his own, I thought the character could have moments of charm but it never lasted long. I know it's a soap and all but TPTB spent too much time 'studding' him out to various women-- Lily, Katie, Carly, Vienna...and never took the time to really evolve or further develop the character. I remember the look of surprise and amusement on the faces of Melanie and Andy during the reunion livestream when Colleen and Alan informed them that Paul and Emily ended up together.
