  1. This just takes my breath away! This is the type of focus and organization that I wish soap fans had when the daytime soaps were still a viable product.
  2. Sam Querrey is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. There were a lot of alternatives to the route he took(or should I say fled?). One obvious one may have been to not travel to one of Europe's COVID-19 hotspots with your wife and eight month old baby.
  3. Your anxiety level must understandably be high @Taoboi still, remember that it is vital that you take care of yourself and part of that self-care is to try to reduce your stress level. Vitamin D is an excellent idea, for the well as well as the unwell. Many of us tend to be deficient, particularly during the colder weather months, an this has consequences for our immune system. So, Baron was diagnosed with COVID-19. Anybody see Javanka lately?
  4. That #MagaHaberman moniker seems to have really taken flight. Apparently, it's trending.
  5. I feel badly for some of the people being adversely affected but as someone who once worked for a storied NYC cultural institution, I can tell you that there is a lot of rot on the inside that had put many of these institutions in precarious positions even before the advent of the pandemic. The #MeToo, #TimesUp and #WeSeeYou movements all attest to the deeply seeded problems embedded in these institutions. Hopefully the people who run these institutions can at least utilize this time to work towards greater equity so that things are better when the time comes for them to open up again.
  6. So ACB's event was basically a super spreader event.
  7. Taylor on the ATP side is already a Dad. Now Taylor on the WTA side is going to be a Mom.
  8. Those fake Black Twitter accounts are back from four years ago but seemingly with a different purpose--to try to keep white Trump supporters in the fold, especially seeing that some appear to be drifting away or lacking in enthusiasm. There are Trump supporters who know full well that he is racist but resent him being called a racist out loud. This campaign is clearly meant for these people. It's meant to appeal to both groups.
  9. There are so many things wrong with the majority of NYC's cultural institutions that I hope that each institution will take the time to fix the rot.
  10. No (although that was a massive haul). I'm talking about the constellation of stars for the virtual conversations and performances. The entire cast of Hamilton, Willie Nelson, Alanis Morrissette, a cavalcade of South Asian celebrities, Jazz musicians like Ravi Coltrane, comedians and politicians like Stacey Abrams and Pete Buttigieg, Tammy Baldwin and Cory Booker and the list goes on...
  11. Has anyone seen the lineup for the Biden/Harris fundraisers?! Wow!!
  12. It's just too bad that not enough people realized how real and active it was four years ago--we might have been in a much better circumstance now.
  13. Speaking of Virginia-
  14. I will send you both my thoughts and my prayers.
  15. It would be nice to be able to see more of the episodes that aired during the show's anniversary. I know we've all seen April 1986, for instance, but what happened on the anniversary episode that aired April 1987? From perusing @Brolden's episode archive thread, I can see that there were many preemptions due to the Iran-Contra hearings but those began in May, not April, which makes me curious. Another random question: was ATWT the only soap that has an episode featuring a family sitting down to eat Easter dinner in the 1980s? Or was this common among the soaps during that era?
  16. Has he been studying Shia LeBeouf?
  17. Sounds like a plan.👍
  18. I forgot to say that, in a large state, it might be better to check with the specific county, but you might also reach your state Secretary of the state via social media to get a response quicker. But I'd advise that you verify the locations of your drop boxes.
  19. Does your city have a listing of where all your drop boxes are located? You may want to verify that. Also, if your state has a website where you can track your ballot, you should definitely use that. I did this for the primary and I just verified receipt of my ballot for the general election. City Hall or your Registrar of Voters might have a website or number to call to get your concerns addressed. Also, be thorough, as you are clearly doing so that you can make informed choices but don't take too long-- get your ballot in as early as you can.
  20. It seems like RG didn't do as good a job as the U.S. Open in providing a secure bubble.
  21. Just end it already.
