Didn't make it to them before tapping out but the ages on this show are a mess. Why not just make the junior politico Tamara Tunie & Deacon from Amen's son instead of grandson if they wanted him to be the father of teenagers. Also, if the producers really like the Hayley actress, why not just re-write it to make her a friend of the wife instead of a friend of her daughter?

I get that ages on soaps get wonky after a while because of aging up kids for storyline reasons, but why start it so messy? It makes it confusing for people trying to learn who the 20+ new characters are. Even Sunset Beach & Passions got this right at their launch.

I suppose Dani is destined to become the super angry version of Sue Ellen then. She's well on her way sipping booze out of shot glasses.

Yeah… there are a lot of people on BTG that look way too young to have grown children and grandchildren.

I’ll roll with it… even though it’s quite obvious

Plus, it’s not the first time a soap has done that. Hell, Days cast Ric Hearst to play Julie’s grandson and he’s only 22 years younger than Susan Seaforth Hayes

Looking forward to getting home and watching!

Thoroughly enjoyed episode two.

Nicole and her husband had INSTANT chemistry. The most chemistry on the show thus far.

Loved that we got introduced to even more sets today. And I will echo everyone that the hospital set looked much better today. Ooo the look the scheming mom gave to Nicole’s husband before that elevator closed gave me life, and I need to know more ASAP!

I don’t see any chemistry between Martin and his husband. I’ve also never been impressed with Mike Manning as an actor on anything I’ve seen him on so there’s that.

Dani’s ex truly is a piece of work and I’m going to thoroughly enjoy getting to know him more. That was definitely a vieled threat to the Dupree patriarch if he doesn’t get that wedding filled out with guests.

Today's show was a solid episode. Loads of potential for story directions.

Right now, Nicole is my favorite character. She reminds me so much of Brooke English. Ted seems so devoted to her. I am shipping them.

I like Bill and Hayley together. Maybe it's good writing, but they don't feel like true bad guys to me. I see the shade of Roger Thorpe!

I probably would have changed some of the family tree. Andre should have been Anita’s nephew. And, I wish there was a third sister. Maybe one who wasn't married and enjoys traveling the world and spending the family money LOL.

Also, I wish they had a black sheep who was removed from the family.

Facts! I am intrigued by Leslie and Eva, and Vanessa.

I don't think I've been this way about a soap in a good minute. Or at least that non-wedding of Peter August on GH. lol.

I was stepping out of work and someone might have needed something and I sooo side-eyed.

And then several streets were blocked by the police and fire department. I hoped everything is okay, but I did eyerolled. I haven't been so aimed on a soap in a good minute.

Coming on soon...

Ooooo I take that as good praise coming from you.

You are giving me life since she is my favorite.

I feel that. Outside of the Damian storyline on Y&R...I have no immediate desire to watch the other soaps this week...lol. Now re-watching the Gates on the other hand...

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
    • I was really starting to enjoy it, but after Anspach, Shelton and Keane left, it got a bit blah to watch. Jane Russell was great as Rose, Buddy Ebsen as Toat was interesting as well.  If a second season were in the cards, I would have signed  Karen Carlson on to a contract and cast a couple more women as regulars. The cowboy aspect could continue. Sam Elliott, as always, was fantastic,  The camaraderie between Roy and Quisto was really good as well. Cybill... she was sex on a stick and unapologetic.   Poor Robin Wright barely lasted five minutes, though, before being raped and murdered.
    • I love it that we've gone from daylight to dark -- Luna's even returned to work -- but Steffy is still sitting next to shirtless Finn on the sofa.

    • Is the current DiMera mansion the same mansion Stefano moved into around 1983?  I remember that house was out near a lake, and not far from Doug Williams' night club.  In fact, there was a tunnel connecting Doug's Place to the DiMera mansion.  If it supposed to be the same house, I'm fairly sure it is not the same set.  But I'm aware sometimes soap opera sets change without any explanation
    • Amazing work @slick jones I remember watching and enjoying Yellow Rose but losing interest once they went to self contained episodes, Interestingly that's the opposite of what Dallas, KL and FC did. So maybe YR should have been more episodic at first and then go to a fully fledged serial. But really the timeslot was the problem -Sat @10 was not the spot for a serial. And Rounders turned out to be a poor lead in. Maybe 9-11 Tues following A Team would have helped.
    • LOL!!! He looks like he is reacting as if Luna just passed bad gas or something.
    • Doug Marland came on board shortly before Gloria Monty, I believe. Jackie Smith was in charge of ABC daytime at that point. All of the characters in place were not his creations. Alan was created by Irving and Tex Ellman who wrote the hurricane story a few months before and brought in Alan, Scotty, David Hamilton, Dorrie and Lisa/Lana. His first character was  Bobbie in Jan 78. Apart from wrapping up the Lan/Lisa story he pretty much kept all the stories going just adding new elements.
    • She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps.
