I think Amanda Setton is just fine as Brook Lynn. The writing for her and Chase is at fault. When she’s given the material, she’s good.

I have bigger problems with other characters, like Maxie, who has become annoying beyond belief. I also can’t stand Esme, who’s being redeemed in a flash for no reason, and who I’d rather see written off with that ginormous baby.

I just wish they'd end the whole Linc thing, it has been going on for over three years now. Ok, granted there was a near two year gap in the middle before they picked it up again, but it just highlights how stuck Chase and Brook Lynn are.

I do think that Victor could very well exit in the summer.  I love CS but Victor needs a rest

That was a great Interview

Those pics are well done

I also think that Sprina play a big part alongside Laura in the Story that starts after the 60th that comes from an old GH adventure of the 80's (Guessing Ice Princess again, but hopefully done better than in 2013)

Ok all this Joss propping is ridiculous now. Ron Carlivati wouldn't even do this.

I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in Laura. She's the grandmother, for f*ck's sake

She should be beating Joss' ass more than Liz should.

I know my grandmothers would have

Like I keep saying: 'Good' characters are rarely allowed to just cheat or have affairs (let alone just fùck because they want to) anymore. They have to scramble and pretend Joss did not cheat on her boyfriend on the way out the door.

For what? Is it really that serious? Sure, Joss is a polarizing and overpropped character, but she's not some whore; she is a young, confused woman who slept with a man not her boyfriend hours before breaking up with him. It was a bad thing to do but it's not the end of the world. Why pretend it didn't happen? Why is the show so overly concerned about it? Joss doesn't need to be a saint. Saints on soaps are boring.

I can’t really be too upset with Laura- someone who was deeply flawed and while her therapy happened off camera, Genie plays her with empathy towards the younger characters that make mistakes similar to the ones she made.

But there is a fine line towards propping and this show crosses it all the time.

Did anyone do a DNA test with to verify that Esme is really Ryan's daughter?
They probably have Kevin's DNA on file, but even if they don't, they could simply check Kevin whose DNA would be close enough. (Sorry I don't know the science for twins but you get the idea).
(I watch intermittently so I don't know whether they did a DNA test or not).

And was she tested with Heather?  (Of course Heather would change any results but did they try?)

No one knows that Joss cheated on Cam other than Joss, Cam, and Carly (and I think Spencer).

Those do look great. Though trying to make everyone about the same height was a…choice. NC is nearly a foot taller than Tabyana lol.

Speaking of, that TVInsider interview was great, I can’t wait for actual couple shít with Sprina to kick off already.

Idk, Laura might have a few choice words if she knew Joss cheated, but Laura is a wise woman.  She'd just know Cameron was better off without her in the long run.   It was young love and things like that happen.  Cam gets to go to Stanford and Joss gets to date a guy who keeps getting shot while trying to take down Sonny at a snails pace with her brother.  Cam is still the winner here.  He might be hurt, but Joss wasn't good enough for him in the first place lol.

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
