Agreed as well. I think it's past any one EP or HW at this point. It seems somewhere after the early 2000s writers and execs apparently forgot how to make daytime dramas "good".

You need A LOT of changes to DAYS before it gets good, let alone romps over anything.

I know, right? I'm also perplexed why Sharon has had the SAME couch in her house ever since her and Nick first moved in there over 20 years ago?

The 1984 episode reminded me that Eileen Davidson has looked like a 35-year-old for the last 35 years.

There was a makeover. Subtle, but still keeps enough of the old CL to make it familiar and comfortable. I think they did a really good job with it.

Um, Ambitions lost half of its audience from its first to last episode. The show got cancelled. If Giddens lost half of Ambitions audience over 18 episodes, how could he sustain 250 episodes of  Y&R? No thanks!

Finally got around to starting Succession, which is free to watch on HBO Go/Now. I see how people were saying that it’s what Y&R is trying (and failing) to do with the Newmans. Again, primetime stealing what soaps used to do better than anyone.

Because Nick and Victoria are so weak as characters, they have to keep doing ridiculous stuff between Adam and Victor. It's tiring, honestly.

What was the point of having Mariah go on tour with Tessa only to go back home to be with Sharon after only a day? And then Tessa's tour ended another day or two after that? REALLY??!!!! Here I thought we wouldnt be seeing Mariah and Tessa for a couple of months (wishful thinking)
