Most of the repeats have been absolute yawners, as if they have no clue what to show.

How about Victor's trek on foot through Kansas? ...and as I've said before, Victor's dungeon with Michael Scott?  Nikki & creepy Edward?  Kay faking her death with Suzanne Lynch?  Vanessa jumping?  The Pete Walker mob?  Rose DeVille (the earlier story from '79?)  Derek Thurston's duel with Douglas?

The 1979 through 1981 time frame was particularly interesting.  The hour-long eps began about Feb. 3 of 1980.

Thank you soo much for pointing out these historic classics and there is lots more, i don't know why they keep showing all these 2000's episode like i think by now we get it what place the show was in those days but...

They need to show some of the older material that probably hasn't been shown since it aired i would love to see nikki first episode either melody or the other actor who played her like who cares at this point if most of those people aren't apart of the show anymore they can still show it smh.

I really wanna see more Vanessa material and Peggy, Chris,Lorie early jack and John and Paul and when the williams family first came on or some of the cult storyline and also when rose Deville first showed up in 79

It would be good if the actors would breifly explain the context especially in episodes like the 1980 repeat. I was so lost until I looked up Vanessa & Lori's history and quickly got intrigued.

Were Phyllis and Malcolm a thing? In this New Year's ep they're seemingly on a date and they kiss when she enters the restaurant.

Who hasn't been "a thing" on this show at this point?  You would think the STD's would be running rampant in Genoa City by now.

I have watched some of the classics but when I tuned in saw saw last year’s from around the 4th of July I was like ——- andddd what makes this classic?  So turned it off.

New poster here but long time viewer. I’ve enjoyed many of the classic episodes but yesterday’s carnival episode was not a classic. It was t even that memorable of an episode. I thought they could have picked from many other pool party episodes.

I don't remember Phyllis/Malcolm being shown in bed together. They kissed but that's as far as I can remember they went.

I thought for sure they hooked up once sometime after Phyllis returned in 2000. I don’t think they were shown in bed though. I need to go back and look.

Kalbir, you're right. That's why I shouldn't post before caffeine. They certainly were never shown in bed together but I was thinking of the scene in which Phyllis woke up in Malcolm's studio after partying together. I forgot Malcolm assured her they didn't sleep together (because he's black and she's white, you see).

Still, they were going out, making out, and constantly joking about jumping bones etc so there were some benefits to that relationship. lmao

Thanks for answering everyone. It’s ridiculous that they weren’t a couple. Michelle and Shemar were at their peak hotness around this time. They both just radiated sex.

Look at CLB’s full-on grey hair and beard in the intro/outro. He’s letting it all hang out in quarantine.

His hair and beard surprised me.
They should not have killed off Diane. She would have so good as Kyles mom vs Summer these days.

He looks so much better with the grey. He looks younger too. That bad dye job was a mess.
