I wonder how they may end up tying up this inheritance storyline. Maybe something will happen offscreen and reveal that Devon really should have kept the inheritance. There is an upcoming spoiler that says that Devon returns to town with unsettling news. Maybe he's found out the stuff regarding the new will is a scam.
