There were times when the Chandler Mansion didn't have a Chandler in it, but it always felt like it belonged to the Chandlers

Character matching the set - the Victorian House that Pierce (the only thing I like about him) restored for Brooke, I always thought it matched her personality the best

That set looked expensive and was shamefully wasted. Brooke finally got out of Phoebe's gatehouse after all those years, and that set seemed to last barely two (?). RW said that they moved Phoebe in with Brooke because they demolished the Tyler-Wallingford mansion set and went with the premise that Phoebe needed to stay with Brooke because of her injury. RW maintained that she didn't need the wheelchair IRL. They did a scene where Phoebe was leaving Adam's and she fell on the ice outside.

Ed Bauer's Spanish-style living room (in the house he bought for Rita), last seen when Carmen Santos whacked her head into a coma. Also, the kitchen in the same house.

The old nurses' station on GL where Hillary and Katie held fort.

The Stewart living room, somehow left to an ex in-law, Susan, on ATWT.

Jack and Carly's and Tom and Margo's ever-shrinking houses, both of which lost staircases. Add Josh and Reva's to that

That set was pretty iconic for OLTL, starting with Carlo. It looked best when Alex lived there before selling it to Todd. David Vickers once snarked to Todd, "This place would've been great in the '80s."

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.
    • CBS is commemorating Don Diamont's 40th anniversary of his start on CBS soaps.  (They're not counting his 1984 on DAYS). Y&R posted on IG, to appear on B&B and cbstv IG accounts as well. (IG post link)  It's a batch of photos. Y&R posted same photos on facebook  (fb post link) Y&R did a youtube with individual messages from their cast: Heartfelt and fun from Peter Bergman, Beth Maitland, Eileen Davidson, Tracey Bregman, Joshua Morrow, and Eric Braeden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdFxgA7gPcY Stephanie Sloane interviewed Diamont for tvinsider/tvguide. • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.
