I trhink I have the old Cabaret DVD without any Liza interviews--but her commentary track on Liza with a Z is BRILLIANT--it's like you're there getting drunk with her random observations and the fact she forgets nearly everythought mid sentence but obsesses over her breasts. I really think it's mainly an internet thing created by bloggers. Back when OLTL was the "Best Show You Aren't Watching" someone got it into their head that the reason for that was AMC gets "more." More promotion, more love, more consideration and all of that came at OLTL's expense. Even now, when OLTL has three more months of life than AMC, Jamey can't pull himself away from that narrative.
